This movie has Tom Cruise, Val Kilmer and a great story line. This movie showcases the F 14 Tomcat in all its majestic glory. Its a great movie about military power and might. It has good action scenes and some great comedic moments. I do plan on watching this movie again and again.

WOW!!! Top Gun in 4K. It looks and sounds great in 4K! I had bought it when it came out and held off watching it until I could buy a 4K TV. I bought one in advance of Black Friday and put on TOP GUN right away. I was amazed and happy.

Although "Risky Business" may have been Tom Cruise's breakout movie as a young man this movie put him into superstar status. Fast paced in every direction. This character is fast in a plane, fast on a bike and fast with the girl. Guys like it because the want to be the character. Gals like it because they want to be with the character.

I loved the original and this sequel is an excellent movie and starts off with a great beginning to a heart pounding finale! Highly recommended to any Topgun fan!

I already had this on DVD when it first came out but it needed to be shown in 4K. I consider this movie to be one of the top flying military films of all time. I would certainly recommend this to my friends especially if they hadn't already seen it and even if they had.

Waited months for this to come out on 4K, and this title did not disappoint. Picture is amazing in 4K and HDR. Sound is amazing in Dolby Atmos. Special features are very good. So glad this was as great as it was given Top Gun Maverick not coming out this summer because of COVID 19.

I previously purchased this movie when it first came out in DVD and purchased it when it was available on BluRay. It’s a classic. So when it came out in 4K will Dolby Atmos I of course was going to buy it. A prior review said the movie in 4K is grainy. When I watched it in 4K it was grainy. The Dolby Atmos was super during the flight scenes was worth the purchase. I could not recommend it if you did not care about the Dolby Atmos experience.

This is a great movie from the 80's. It looks and sounds even better now that's its on 4k. I wish the digital copy of the movie would port over to Movies Anywhere, but that's a problem with all Paramount movies. It still redeems on Vudu so that's good I guess.

Classic 80's movie in 4K. Bought this on sale. The dolby atmos sound is pretty good, especially during the dog fight scenese. Only watched this once since I got it. I'm not a huge Top Gun fan, but it's a good buy if it's on sale or if you're a Top Gun fan.

The real reason to get a 4k movie is to see the new restoration. This movie does have a great one and looks great on a 4k tv. The picture is clear and the Dolby aroma is great!!

You can’t go wrong with this classic 80s action movie. I own it on VHS and DVD and had to get the tin box edition with the Blu-ray and Extras. The DTS MA soundtrack and reasonable crisp transfer from film allows me to enjoy the film all over again. For the price, you should have this in your movie library no doubt.

Adding 3D to a movie not originally made for 3D is a very good feat. The 3D effects on the flight deck, clouds over the ocean and flight are very good, and makes you wonder how they did it. But there isn't any really fly in your face that would have knocked my socks off. Not sure when they're going to realize the power of 3D and start using it, but this is still a good 3D title, and better than many that have come out recently,.\\,

It's not really about the DVD, but I'm sure it plays fine. Truthfully, I only bought it because I have a really large DVD collection I couldn't believe this wasn't in it. Kudos to Best Buy for still selling the classics! Also, I like that it comes w/ the digital download.

Helloooooo....It's Top freaking Gun. One of the best movies of all time. It's like a lie detector for your girl. If she watches it and says the guys are ugly....she lying then you have to question if you are manly enough for her!

A movie that I have come to like and appreciate over the years since I first saw it in the theaters back in the day. I remember how awesome those jet engines sounded in the theater in the 70mm 6-Track format. The picture on the 4K blu ray is a definite upgrade from the 1080, and to some extent the audio too. I guess it's hard to reproduce that thunderous low end shaking that I remember hearing in the theaters back in '86. It's still good to go. Check it out.

This was already a favorite movie of mine and it got better with 3D. Top Gun has never looked this good. The added 3D depth really shines in the aerial footage. There is no gimmicky 3D "pop outs" Considering the age of the film, I have no complaints. Definitely worth another viewing for the added 3D.

Love love love this. Not only because it is the best movie of all time, but I can always count on Best Buy to have the steel books. It was a great Christmas gift for my hubby. He loved it! Would highly recommend starting your own steel book collection.

A classic that looks great in 4K! I probably wouldn’t have gotten this if not for Top Gun Maverick staying fresh on my mind! For completist sake… but for $7.99 can’t go wrong.

one of the all time great movies and I love the steel book packaging. I'm trying to replace my most favorite movies in my collection with Steel book 4K versions. So of course, Top Gun was right up there at the top of the list !!

It is great having this movie especially at the low price I got it including BR and digital. It arrived about 2 days earlier than promised and we enjoy the Maverick flying. Will watch it agai prior to going out for Top Gun 2 to ensure I don't miss any references.
