I purchased this movie to replace my VHS version I loved this movie and the blue ray has great picture quality.

Excellent film, purchased because of 4K release, great presentation.

It had been a while since I last watched this movie so I got it from Best Buy and added it to my collection, it's a good one.

This top gun is just as good as the first one. High intensity

The movie of course is a classic. Only bought this version because its a Steelbook. Same transfer as before so nothing has changed. Digital HD works with both iTunes and UV.

Are you kidding. Who doesn't love top gun? Had to introduce my 16 year old to a classic. Great sound. Great movie!

It's a classic. If you are looking for character development and depth, this isn't your kind of movie. However, if you like action and want to be entertained, you'll enjoy it. This wasn't a huge budget movie even during it's time, so the plot does feel a little cheesy and the editing is a little rough, but the characters are fun and the flight sequence still hold up really well. The 80's soundtrack is what it is -- equal parts cheesy and fun. It's a definite upgrade from the old DVD, but doesn't appear to be a remaster. The colors are somewhat muted, there is a fair bit of grain throughout, and the detail level bounces around a bit. The audio is pretty darn good for a film from the 80's. Unless you hate Tom Cruise, you'll enjoy it... I did.

Really good 4K transfer with lots of detail and amazing HDR. Would highly recommend for anyone that’s a fan of this film

Fantastic quality and the featurettes were wonderful. The picture as well as the sound were phenomenal.

WOW click the buy it now. This looks and sound great in 4K. YES its old but still and great movie with a great cast.

One of my all time favorite movies as a kid, and still is on my top list. Makes me want to hop on my bike and go cruising every time. "I got the need, the need for speed." Ahhaaa!
