I thought this was a good sequel to the original but I like anything with Navy Jets in action.

I know everyone has different taste in movies,,,in my opinion this movie was great,,you need to watch the original first.

This is a great action movie. There are a lot of parallels to the original movie and I higher recommend watching the first one if you haven't seen it to be able to fully understand this one. Tom Cruise does an excellent job portraying the main character. The flying sequences are intense and very realistic. You will feel good after watching this movie.

I thoroughly enjoyed Top Gun: Maverick. Been a long time fan of Top Gun. The cast did an outstanding job. Special effects and direction were great. The flying and the stunts are incredible. Lots of people from original. Sad seeing iceman but you meet Goose's son and see a lot of him too. And believe it or not, Tom is not bad either. I am very glad I bought this DVD.
