Iconic 80s action delivered in a supersonic fighter jet! Lovingly preserved 4K transfer of this Reagan era classic!

Bought this movie to replace the standard dvd bought more than 20 years ago. Great to have in 4K especially for the price paid.

It's a classic. If you are looking for character development and depth, this isn't your kind of movie. However, if you like action and want to be entertained, you'll enjoy it. This wasn't a huge budget movie even during it's time, so the plot does feel a little cheesy and the editing is a little rough, but the characters are fun and the flight sequence still hold up really well. The 80's soundtrack is what it is -- equal parts cheesy and fun. It's a definite upgrade from the old DVD, but doesn't appear to be a remaster. The colors are somewhat muted, there is a fair bit of grain throughout, and the detail level bounces around a bit. The audio is pretty darn good for a film from the 80's. Unless you hate Tom Cruise, you'll enjoy it... I did.

It's an all time classic. It's awesome in any format, but obviously cooler in 4K. Got while on sale

Seemed largely the same as an upconverted Blu-ray. I think some film flaws are actually more apparent in this version. Audio appears to be better. Not sure it was worth it.

Top Gun is one of my favorite movies. I couldn't beat the price.

One of my all time favorite movies as a kid, and still is on my top list. Makes me want to hop on my bike and go cruising every time. "I got the need, the need for speed." Ahhaaa!

I bought a new sound bar system for my TV. The opening scene of this movie is awesome, Kenny Loggins is great.

Good movie with very high quality 4K movies are the way to go. You can't go wrong if you have the equipment to support them.

This movie will always be a classic. But for me there is a little too much music! I wanted to watch action and I hear a lot of music. Lol. But like I said this movie will always b a classic!

this was always a great movie, way ahead of its time when it was made, but seeing it in 3D makes it almost unbelievable ! most awesome picture quality ever !
