The experience is somewhere between a wet rag on your neck and a fan blowing warm air on your face. Bearded people need not apply - it will eat your beard hairs. The back plate is the nicest thing about this. It does get cold and stays cold but its really no match for a hot summer day in NC.

It works okay, but the price far exceeds its usefulness. Additionally, this model is quite bulky and a tad heavy. Still, it does help cool me when I'm on a work project outside in the heat.

The cooling part is just not enough cool for outside. Id you wanna sit in your car in the summer then this is great. Other than that it wasn't enough to keep me cool outside.
