Works in Texas heat!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have tried a few neck fans, two $30 options and this Torras Coolify Cyber. There is a huge difference! USE: The Torras is able to actually cool the air before it is blown both up and down your neck. The addition of the cooling pads (sides and rear) is also amazing. In 95f+ Texas heat and humidity I has feeling a difference. My body was hot, my skin felt the heat of the sun, however, with my neck being cool I have been able to be outside more doing the things I love (the neck/base of the skull is the thermostate of the body). BATTERY: I can get a few hours of use using the cooling pads and <30% fans. I don’t feel the need to turn the fans above 60%. Best noise to cooling. This has been enough for my use and the charging speed is plenty quick. If you need more time, carry a battery pack that can output a minimum of 15w Type C. APP: I did not expect to use the app at all. Why would you need an app to use this? The short answer is, you don’t need to use the app, which is great. I did find the app useful to set the fans to about 5% with the cooling pads on. This is a nearly silent setup and very effective cooling. Something I tested but have not used in practice is the fact that this can also heat! I will put the heat to the test this winter and happy that this can do both. I will be flying with this later this month, looking forward to beating the hot airplane! VERDICT: I have already recommended this to friends and have to keep it away from my teenage son. If you are the fence, consider this an investment in your wellbeing as it will enable you to be outside more!

360 degree portable cooling
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love this Torras COOLiFY neck air conditioner. I was skeptical that this would actually work to provide AC as opposed to just blowing air as a fan, but it really does cool the air to provide additional comfort. This comes with a study, yet sleek case to store when not in use. This also holds the included charging cable. The app is easy to use, and allows you to adjust the cold/hot levels, along with the fan intensity. The AC and fan together provide cooling relief, even in a humid environment. The fan is not loud, despite its strong output. This has been helpful during rounds of golf, and stays on when I am doing yard work. The light weight build allows you to wear this for long stretches without being bothered.

Great product under specific situations
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This portable unit is a very unique product that does indeed provide refrigerated quality air and with a switch turn to heating. It is very pricy so keep in mind that sometimes it really is just too hot outside so it might feel like it’s not working.

Personal Air Conditioner
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.OVERALL ASSESSMENT: I used the Torras COOLiFY Cyber, over a four-day period, in a variety of indoor and outdoor environments. Overall, I thought it performed very well for cooling and heating indoors. But sadly, it falls somewhat short of my expectations for cooling outdoors when I was performing any type of activity beyond lounging in my Adirondack chair. Yeah, it does provide some cooling abilities outdoors. But even at an outside 75 degrees temperature, it seemed to just blow warm air if I was doing even the most trivial of outside tasks. TORRAS APP: One can use this item just fine without loading a phone application. And normally I prefer not to clutter up my phone with apps that may be more of a novelty and less of useful functionality. But I did download and install it to my Android phone, more of a curiosity, plus to complete this review. And I must admit, I can see benefits with its use. As other reviews have mentioned, it is much easier to change setting, without the need to remove the Coolify from your neck. But the ability to independently control the dual side fan spin intensity, versus the dual rear fan spin intensity, is to me its major selling point. WEARING FIT: No issues here, it was easy to expand the arms to put on around my neck. The arms will then then self-contract back to their original positions closing in around the neck. And I did not think it was uncomfortable to wear for a few hours. Although this is subjective, I thought it looked futuristic and very cool to be wearing. BATTERY LIFE: Excellent battery life with cooling at the 30% setting with all four fans running. I stopped at 3 hours, but there was still at least 25% battery life remaining. Recognize this is not an “all day” device to run. Three to four hours is more than sufficient. USB CHARGING: The COOLiFY does not include its own power adapter, and I’m "coolified" with that. I have too many USB chargers already, and really don’t need another. Now the supplied USB cable, with its unique right-angle plug, is definitely another sweet bonus. I actually wish I had more of these… CASE: Includes a very nice semi-hard shell case. The case has dual magnet for closing, in conjunction with the dual zippers. Nice touch! RATING: The COOLiFY Cyber earned itself a solid 5 Star Rating for indoor use, with a 3 Star Rating for my outdoor use, averaging in at 4 Stars.

Cool Solution or Gimmick?
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.DOES IT WORK? This is a fascinating product that just may revolutionize how you handle hot and cold weather. But like many others I was skeptical on whether this would work in real-world scenarios. Others of similar design just circulate air, where this uses 366 cooling particles that are strategically placed over 23.21 square inches to provide cooling to the head, neck, and back. Or graphene heat dissipation technology to provide heat instead. And I’m happy to report both work well. But isn’t mind blowing. COOLING: I found it works best in mild to moderate heat where I found it makes me more comfortable. However, high heat makes the cooling particles less effective, and the higher fan noise can be irksome. You can fine-tune the fan speed from 0 – 100% (up to 7,200 RPM) via smartphone, otherwise you have slow, medium, high with on device controls. And can choose to either cool the front, back, or both of your neck which comes out 7 different zones. It’s easy to connect to your phone and fully control the device. While it may look like it supports speakers it does NOT. HEATING: The heating function is not as impressive as the cooling function. As it just warms the graphene instead of actually blowing out heat. And is limited to just the surface area of the neck. But I still found it to be nice. But I wouldn’t buy this product for the heating function alone. FAN: Honestly, I didn’t use this much. As this product is extremely expensive so I figured I should use the features that make it expensive. But I am glad it also comes with a fan as that may be more ideal on those very high heat days where you are sweating to help keep you cool (by blowing air over the sweat to cool you down) which would likely work better than using the cooling function. BATTERY LIFE: They report the battery life to be 15.5 hours with fan, 2.6 hours with cool, and 4.5 hours with heat. Supports 20-watt fast charging from 0 – 80% in 1.2 hours. Also, can use while charging. It does come with a right-angle USB-C cable making charging while using more comfortable. Adding a power bank can also help get you more battery while on the go. I found the battery life to be better than advertised with more moderate/light fan settings. COMFORT/BUILD QUALITY: I was very pleasantly surprised on just how comfortable this device is. It has a nice sleek, compact, lightweight, and adjustable design. Which is specifically made to accommodate different neck sizes and comfort whether sitting, walking, running, standing, or laying down. The fan noise itself isn’t very loud. But as with any fan there is noise. I found putting on some headphones or noise cancelling earbuds helped a lot. It also comes with a hard-shell case that protects the device along with carrying the charging cord. The device for the most part feels well built. But there is some creaking which makes me slightly concerned about overall longevity. Only has a 180 day warranty which further doesn’t help my concern. I would be afraid if this were dropped if it would survive. POSSIBLE SCENARIOS FOR USE: Spectating sports events, picnicking, gardening, light activity, stuffy offices, at home, car rides, in your car/outside during lunch, after workouts, while golfing, if you’re a mailman/delivery person during work (battery would be a problem), home without air conditioning over the summer.

Wasn't sure what I expected, but it's awesome!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Like the title says, I wasn't really sure what to expect from the Torras COOLiFY, but I was pleasantly surprised by what I found. I often help our friends who have a farm in the Central Valley of California and spending the day in the sun there can get quite hot. I've purchased all kinds of gaiters, shirts, hats, and fans to help keep cool (including two electric fan units that are similar in design to the COOLiFY but a lot flimsier). I saw the COOLiFY and thought that this might just be the thing because it also has a heater! The problem with the Central Valley and being outdoors is that in addition to being really hot in the full on sun, it is also pretty cold in the early and late hours as well. I haven't been working up on their farm since getting this but I have done some work around my yard and The COOLiFY was almost everything I had hoped. Right from the get-go I knew I was in for something special upon opening the box. I definitely wasn't expecting my neck warmer/cooler to come with a really nice case like some high end headphones! Upon opening the case I was further surprised by the styling of the COOLiFY; it looks cool (HA! See what I did there?) and stylishly designed, well, as stylish as an electric neck A/C unit can look. They also have heft and a solid build. That last part leads to my only real complaint about the COOLiFY, its weight. The first thing I did upon turning the COOLiFY on was to connect it to its iPhone app (yup, another app), which makes it easy to change settings without fumbling for small-ish buttons. I noticed that the device was delivered with 68% battery so I plugged it in to fully charge it. It took about an hour and twenty to get that last 32%. The problem with a big battery is that it also takes longer to charge. That first day I started in the early afternoon with some trimming and weed-pulling in the sun. I used the COOLiFY with both its active cooling pads and the fans. I was amazed at how fast the active 'chill' pads got REALLY cold! Of course, the fans provide some immediate relief but you won't be waiting long until you feel like you have a really nice icepack on your shoulders. I started it up at about a 60% setting but quickly bumped that up to about 75% via the app. Checking the battery after ten minutes showed a 10% drop in battery capacity. By that loose math, we get about an hour and thirty minutes of run time, which isn't bad for a device running at such a high level, but it will not get you through an afternoon of work. Of course, if you are using just the fans themselves or dialing back on the full cooling level, you will get a much longer run time. For the next version, it would be awesome to have swappable batteries. Oh, and I forgot that you will need this on the OUTSIDE of any garment you are wearing because this thing needs the airflow. If you are wearing a poncho of some sort, it won't like the air supply and you won't getting any cooling flow. When I was out the next morning, I kicked off the device on 'heat' mode and after a minute, was pleasantly warmed by the device. Will it replace a nice sweatshirt or coat? No, but it can definitely take the edge off if it is particularly cold or you're slightly underdressed. Since this is a radiative heat from the panels on the inside of the COOLiFY, you can also keep this under a coat to help retain the heat without worrying about having good airflow. I checked the battery level after ten minutes of use and it had used 5% of the battery, so heat is a bit more energy efficient. So, back to the weight issue. I didn't think it was a problem as to how it felt resting on my shoulders, since that isn't that bad but as to its inertia. If you are sitting at work or watching a game, the inertia issue won't be a problem, but if you are physically working and leaning around and getting up or down, it will. Leaning forward, more of the weight is borne by your neck and not your shoulders. Moving to the sides or back runs the risk of it flying or sliding off. I would be aghast at this thing falling off of my neck onto the ground because of the other problem with the COOiFY, its price. I personally think that the COOLiFY price isn't all that bad given the quality and how well it works. Plus, last year I went through two of the cheap-ish ($29) fan neckbands, neither of which had chilling panels, only fans. Those other ones also didn't have as good of a battery, but their lighter weight kept them on my shoulders easier. As long as I don't drop and damage my COOLiFY, I know I will get much greater longevity out of it (both in daily usage and long term condition). One thing I did expect, but did not find on the COOLiFY, was the ability to charge an external device like a phone or headphone. Now, nowhere does Torras say you can do this (so this is NOT their fault but a misconception on my part), but whenever I read something like '6000mAh battery capacity' I always think of portable battery chargers. But that could perhaps be an option for Torras to add to the next version or to this version via a firmware upgrade. All-in-all, I'm pretty happy with the COOLiFY and can't wait to put it to the test starting next month.

Too heavy and awkward for constant use.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.TLDR: The Torras Coolify Cyber is a high-tech solution for a low-tech problem. You can get better results from a cold towel without worrying about damaging or losing a complicated cooler. If you are looking for something for house, this could be your answer, for outside use, I’d look elsewhere. The Torras Coolify Cyber consists of a peltier cooler housed inside a plastic neck band. The neck band contains everything needed for the cooler to operate; battery, vents, peltier cooler, buttons, and display. The neck band flexes slightly at the shoulders and in the back to fit nearly any neck. The Coolify is easily controlled via the Torras Life app. This app installed without issue on both my iPad and my Galaxy phone. This is one of the few apps that seemed to work perfectly out of the box without hiccups or glitches. Torras should be commended for time well spent on the app. Having a peltier heat exchanger built-in, Torras advertises a cooling difference of approximately 20 degrees Celsius. I would say this is a best-case scenario. As things have warmed up considerably here in the south, the Torras provided a much more noticeable temperature difference the warmer it was outside. Having 3 distinct cooling zones is quite nice. The user can choose to have cold air blown up and down in the front of the neck, up from the back and down from the back. Each zone is independently adjustable. A welcome and very nice feature. BATTERY LIFE The Coolify supports 20W fast charging. Reaching from 0 to 80% in approximately 1.5hours, according to Torras marketing. I’m assuming to preserve battery longevity, it slows charging down considerably after 80%, reaching full charge in a little over 2 hours. But, what about battery life during use? Well, that all depends on how many zones you have on and at what cooling setting. Full on with all zones blowing, I only saw a little over 1.5 hours of battery life. Torras claims up to six hours of battery life and I think it could muster it, but only at limited settings. Using it at what I would consider normal use speeds and cooling, I can muster a good 3 – 4 hours. NEGATIVES The biggest draw of this device is its novelty. It does its intended job, but while it does it, it also becomes quite heavy. I found myself wanting it off my neck after 2 hours, at best. While it starts off feeling cool and refreshing, after I get cooled down the Torras just becomes a nuisance. After a couple of hours, it just gets annoying and heavy. I honestly never thought I would have any issues with the Torras. I wear a motorcycle helmet for hours on end without much thought, but there is just something different about the Torras. I know Torras has done an admiral job slimming and trimming the Coolify from the previous generation, but it quite honestly isn’t much lighter than my full-faced motorcycle helmet. Having that weight resting on one spot around my neck and on my shoulders gets irritating after a while. FINAL THOUGHTS Like I stated earlier, I see this as a high-tech solution for a low-tech problem. Torras’ website shows people playing sports in their Coolifys like it is nothing. Tennis, hiking, etc. I just don’t see it. One, the Coolify is too heavy and awkward for competitive sports. Sudden movements and directional changes jar it around and out of its ideal and comfortable position. Two, you can get relief from buying a cold towel and dipping it in water or ice water. Cooling results from a cold towel are much faster, more refreshing, and I can easily play sports in a towel that weighs next to nothing versus a weighty neck band. If my towel comes flying off during sports, no biggie. If my Coolify comes flying off, well, that is a different story. If I worked from home or in an office environment that was warmer than my ideal temperature, I could see this being a viable solution. No one would want a cold towel draped around them while working on a PC or while sitting at an office desk getting their shirt and collars wet. In this environment, I could see the Coolify Cyber being a solution. It works much better than just having a fan blowing ambient air on you to keep cool. Plus, you would have easy access to a charger, keeping the Torras topped off throughout the day. Unfortunately, I have the give the Torras Coolify Cyber a NOT RECOMMENDED. I think there is a limited target audience for the device, but as a whole, I just don’t see the benefit for a vast majority of the people.

Wearable Thermal Management
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This wearable air conditioner/heater has contact pads that heat or cool your neck really well where it touches your skin. It also has fan outlets aiming up toward your face and both up and down the back of your neck to help keep you comfortable. It charges fast, has long battery life and is relatively quiet when operating. You can even use it while it’s charging which is a great way to extend its use by having it connected to a large battery in your pocket or bag. Highlights: * Fast heating/cooling. * Relatively quiet when fans are running. * Nice on-unit displays to show power level, battery status and which areas are being heated/cooled. * Includes a right-angle charging cable for better cable management during both use and charging. * Long run times (2-3hrs for cool, 3.5-4.5 for heat, 7-13 for fan only). * Very fast 20W charging speeds (0-80% in 1.2hrs). Room for Improvement: * A tad heavy at 1lb 2oz (1/2 kg). * All displays only visible when not being worn. * Buttons are hard to locate by touch without looking while wearing. * No significant way of determining modes or status while wearing. * Must use app for anything other than basic heating/cooling/fan. Setup: Basic stuff. The neckband comes with a right angle USB-C to C charging cable and no USB adapter. You can use just about any other compatible cable and any suitable power adapter. Plug the right-angle end into the bottom of the neckband and the other end into a 20W or higher USB charger for the fastest charging speeds. It will also charge from lower-powered adapters, but will take longer. While charging, the display on the side above the connector indicates the current charge status. When done, unplug the cable and you’re good to go, or if the cable is long enough or the power source is portable, leave it plugged in and start wearing it run off the external power source. Usage: There are two buttons on the neckband to control the basic features. The Mode button works even before you turn it on so that it will come on at your preferred mode of cool, heat or fan. The selected mode is represented by the color of the icon in the display on the side above the buttons (green for fan only, blue for cool and orange for heat) and the number represents the power level from 0 to 100% power. The power button turns the unit on or off and cycles through 3 pre-set power levels. When on, the display above the charge connector shows the current battery level. Both displays turn off after a few seconds but you can “wake” them up with a quick tap of the power button. The fans come on immediately and the heating/cooling plates get to their desired temperature quickly. You can optionally install the free iOS or Android app to do even more with the settings. With the app, you can control the fans and the temperature contact plates independently, turn on Auto mode, set a favorite heating/cooling mode, set an auto-off timer, update the band’s firmware, etc. The app connects with the neckband quickly and consistently without needing to be paired (BTLE). Once you change the mode settings of the connected neckband, you can disconnect the app - it doesn’t need to remain running for the set mode to continue. Even though the band is kinda heavy (over a pound), it is well-balanced and relatively comfortable to wear for long periods of time. As mentioned above, once it’s one and being worn, you can’t see the displays and it’s not easy to find the power and mode buttons. Best to set it up, then put it on, and if you need to check anything like power levels or mode, you need to take it off. There is a setting in the app labeled “Voice Prompt” which I had hoped would speak the current mode, power level and battery level while being worn, but all it does is enable or disable beeps when tapping buttons. The only differences in beeps is a double-beep when turning it off. Everything else does the same single beep. Overall: Amazing cooling and heating performance. Quick charging and long run times. Comfortable to wear and mostly easy to use. The app expands functionality with more modes and flexibility. My few suggestions for improvement would just make it that much easier to use once it’s being worn. Otherwise, a great way to maintain your cool (or get warmed up) without adjusting the room’s temp or the amount of clothes you have on ;-).

A must have for cooling off!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Coolify came nicely packaged and includes a great carrying case to protect the neck cooler and store the charging cord. The controls are fairly straight forward and easy to operate - with modes for fan, cooling and heating. There are also 3 fan speeds which are more than adequate to do the job. The front fan noise is a little loud (but not deafening) on the highest setting, but still fairly quiet to any outsiders and it would be difficult to make a "noiseless" cooling fan. The most impressive thing about this neck cooler is how comfortable it is, and how well it works at cooling and heating. It cools and heats very quickly. I have not yet tested it in the hottest part of the summer, but so far, it feels like it will be perfect for cooling down especially during craft shows (which can get very hot even under a tent). I'm thinking the best way to use this device is to cool down when very hot, rather than wear it consistently, but it probably depends on the activity. The only reason I deducted one star was because I could not connect it to my Moto 5G phone via Bluetooth. I tried resetting, reinstalling the app, using the phone pairing method and the app pairing. I finally gave up. It's not really necessary to operate but would have been convenient. It definitely won't stop me from cooling off this summer! A great device!

It Works! Stay Cool Anywhere!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I did not expect to like this as much as I did. The TORRAS COOLiFY Cyber truly lives up to its claim as a personal air conditioner. Upon receiving the COOLiFY Cyber, I was cautiously optimistic, having been disappointed by conventional neck fans in the past. However, within 20 seconds of turning it on, I could tell this was different. The unit began to work immediately, getting ice cold as the internal fans ramped up to about 30% power. Initially surprised by the limited 3-speed options, my opinion changed once I connected it to the app – here is where the COOLiFY truly shines. Connecting to my phone took only around 5 seconds, unlocking tons of features for this neck air conditioner. From the app, you can adjust fan speeds from 0 to 100, set timers, change cooling zones, and much more. My first real test was using the COOLiFY Cyber while mowing the lawn on warmer days. This was precisely the type of scenario where I knew a personal neck air conditioner would excel – and excel it did. It performed flawlessly, with 40-50% power providing ample cooling to get me through my outdoor chores. After 1.5 hours of use, the 6000 mAh battery still had about 30% charge remaining, more than sufficient for my needs. One of my favorite features is the independent control of the two cooling zones (Front and Back). While having the fans at higher speeds in the front (below your ears) can be fairly loud, the ability to run them at a lower speed and increase the zone on the back of your neck balances the cooling perfectly. The only flaw I found was with the heating function. Although it drains the battery much quicker, its flat design that makes contact with your neck led to excess sweating and discomfort when used for prolonged periods. However, I selected this device primarily for its cooling function, so I can't fault it too much for a feature I won't use often. Overall, I am highly satisfied with the COOLiFY Cyber. It is incredibly comfortable to wear for extended periods and delivers on its promise as a personal air conditioner. I absolutely love this device and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to stay cool.

It really cools!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I must say, I was a little skeptic about this cooling/heating device, but after using, I must say it does really work! It comes in a nice package and they include a nice carrying device. You charge it with a USB type C cable. Once its fully charged, you can start using and control it from the device using its buttons. However, you can also download their app and pair it and control it from your phone. It has several settings and modes. You can have it just blowing air, cooling and heating. The cooling part is impressive. It does blow cold air, however even more impressive is the fact that the device feels cold on your neck. I guess is due the use of graphene as a material (its a very effective material when removing heat, I have seen it used in thermal solutions, like PC thermal interfaces). It blows air from three different directions. One is around your cheeks, the other two are on the back of your neck, one blow air upwards and the other downwards. You can control which area you want blowing air or if you want all 3 at the same time. I noticed because the material also gets cold, and is touching your neck area (maybe in contact with your main veins on your neck) it does cool you down (its not only the air it blows, but the contact with your skin too). It fits snuggly on your neck, the instructions show that you can bend it open if its too tight, I have tried that, however it don't notice it gets less tight (its a bit too tight for me, but then I have a thick neck), maybe it will get a little looser with time, I hope so so I can use it for a longer time that what I am using it for now, as I'm loving the cooling. Battery time is also impressive. I've been using it chilling at home, while walking outside in the heat or working out. I highly recommend it, I'm now a true believer of this little device's cooling prowess!!

Innovative portable wearable air conditioner
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Torras COOLiFY Cyber is incredibly portable and lightweight, making it perfect for outdoor activities like hiking, camping, or even just running errands on scorching hot days. Its sleek design is comfortable to wear, and the adjustable straps ensure a snug fit for anyone. But let's get to the most important part: Does it actually keep you cool? In short, yes! The COOLiFY utilizes advanced cooling technology to create a refreshing breeze around your neck. With three adjustable fan speeds, you can customize the airflow to your liking. Even on the highest setting, the fan remains impressively quiet, so you can enjoy the cool air without any distracting noise. One of the features I appreciate most is the built-in rechargeable battery. I can get several hours of use on a single charge, which is perfect for all-day outdoor adventures. Plus, the USB-C charging port means I can easily recharge it with my power bank or any USB outlet. I plan to visit India in a few months and public transportation on trains and buses gets very hot there; I will be using this COOLiFY device to keep me cool on the go. Another notable aspect is the COOLiFY's versatility. It's not just for outdoor activities; I've found it invaluable while working at my desk on hot summer days. Instead of blasting the AC and running up my energy bill, I simply slip on the COOLiFY and enjoy targeted cooling without affecting the entire room. However, no product is perfect, and the COOLiFY does have its limitations. While it's great for personal cooling, don't expect it to replace a traditional air conditioner in larger spaces. Additionally, the battery life could be improved slightly, especially on the highest fan setting. Recharging it to full capacity does take a good bit of time so keep a USB power bank handy if you’re traveling with this. Fine settings are adjusted via an app you download to your phone. It’s a little annoying I have to download yet another app, but I guess it beats having to fumble around with more tiny physical buttons on the device itself. Overall, I highly recommend the TORRAS COOLiFY Cyber Wearable Air Conditioner to anyone looking for a convenient way to beat the heat. Whether you're hiking, working, or just relaxing outdoors, this innovative device provides a refreshing escape from summer's sweltering temperatures.

Portable cooling and heating
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Torras Coolify can help you stay a little more comfortable on those cold and hot days! This is my first experience with this type of device and must say it’s pretty impressive. The device comes with a USB-C charge cable and a nice robust carrying case with a loop to carry it. The device itself weighs just over a pound and feels really solid and well made. Operating the device you have two buttons on the bottom to turn it on and off and one to change the modes . On each side you have small display screens that show the battery life on one and fan speed/temp on the other. Connecting the device with the app and controlling it thru your phone though is the best way to use it. With the app, it allows more control of the device and more speed settings. When controlling the fan speed with the buttons on the device, you have 30,60 or 100. When using the app you can adjust it in increments of 10 from 0 to 100. You also have the ability to have different zones on instead of all and you also could have heating on the back and cooling on the side and vice verse if you so desire. When I initially got the device I thought it only did cooling, I was surprised to see it did heating also. When using the heating function it doesn’t use the fans it only uses the heating elements on the area that touches your neck. Using it for a 2 mile walk on breezy day in the low 50s, the device took that little bit of chill off that I would normally have had without. Battery life is pretty impressive also as for my 2 mile walk, it only dropped 20% when using the heating function at 40%. Using the cooling function you get cool and fan, cool doesn’t blow ice cold air, but I can see it definitely making grass cutting and other outdoor chores a little more bearable this summer. If you’re looking for something that will keep you a little more cool in the summer or warm in the winter the Coolify can do just that.

Excellent device for hot days
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This COOLiFY is not just a neck fan; it really helps you stay cool. It has a nice fabric case to protect the device, which is easy to open with one or two zips. It is an acceptable weight that one can use for long hours. Both the left and right sides of the device have hinges to open for easy wear and staying put in your neck. There are three cooling plates, one on the left and right sides and one in the back for neck cooling. The technology is impressive, with easy in-app control (also controllable without the app) to control fan speed and cooling location(s). The cooling plates get very cold and help you stay cool. The app has three cooling variations: a timer, a favorite setting, and variable fan speeds. The cooling variations are (1) cooling plates on both left and right sides, (2) cooling plates on the back of the neck, and (3) all sides turned on. They get the best cooling when the fan is faster, but know that the user will be listening to the fans make some noise. For not-so-hot days, the slowest fan speed is okay and has a minimal noise level. The fans aren’t loud to others near you, but you can hear them yourself. The battery life is perfect. I can wear them for many hours without issues at the highest cooling setting. I like this device, especially when working outside on my garden beds or running the lawnmower. It was during springtime when I got this product, and it started to get hot here in Florida. The device looks and feels solid build. It is portable, but one must be careful since the outer parts are hard plastic that might break if accidentally dropped. It is a good product for outdoor work, traveling, and keeping cool during hot days. Overall, I am satisfied with the product and how well it functions.

Cold and Hot it does it both
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Game changer! During hot months I usually take a wet towel and put it on my neck to help cool me down. This device applied more cooling than a towel could and stayed cooler a lot longer. This product is very well built and has a premium feel to it. In the box is a charging cord, instructions, and a really nice case. The case can hold the device, charging cable, and instructions. I really like the included case as it formed for the device, somewhat hard but still has a soft touch. So the device is really well protected while in the case. It also has a strap you can put around your wrist so you don’t loose it. Setting up the Torras device was a breeze! Download the app (android and apple) and the connect the device. The app is pretty basic which I love, you can turn on the device, adjust fan speed, change which fans to use, and change from cold, room temp air, or heat. When using the heat setting the fans do not run but the device warms up. Using the other two options the fans do run and at the highest settings they can be a little loud but not intrusive. I found that using them at about 50% was perfect as it cooled me down quickly. I have a 16.5 size dress shirt neck and this fits around my neck with no issues. The arms flex easily and allowed it slip around my neck without issue. They seem to flex out pretty far, but I didn’t want to push it and break the device. I’m very happy with this personal air conditioner/heater. My office is very cold and we cannot use space heaters, so this will come in handy on those cold days. We also have a few classic cars that do not have AC and so this will for sure be coming with me to help keep me cool while driving.

Coolify Cyber personal air conditioner
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ok, I’m going to admit that I was skeptical that this product was anything more than just a fan. Well, I was wrong. I selected it for review because I work in a building with no air conditioning all summer long and we’re required to wear long pants. It gets pretty hot and uncomfortable to say the least. Heck, I figured even if it’s just a fan it would help. When I first got it I powered it on in cool mode on low. It was about 85 degrees in the building and I could feel the inside of the device getting cool to the touch. Trying it on, it ACTUALLY felt cold! I passed it around to several coworkers and they all agreed that it was cooling. I took it home that evening and placed the tip of an instant read thermometer on the inside of the device and after a few minutes running on level 30 (low) the thermometer was indicating 64 degrees! Air temp in the room was showing 83. Curious, I switched it to warming mode and let it run for a few minutes (fan does not operate in warming mode) and the thermometer was reading 102! I imagine my wife will be stealing this when winter comes. And it also has a fan mode where it doesn’t add warmth or cooling. I’ll add a battery life expectancy chart to my photo upload instead if typing it out here. Shows 2.8 hours for cooling on low if you need the tl:dr. Almost enough to get to my lunch break where I can recharge it. Has 20 watt fast charging so it’s not quite 80% recharged in my one hour break. You can download the Torras app to your mobile device and connect via Bluetooth and set your preferences.

It really works!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When I first heard of this product, I was skeptical. My body does not function well in heat and I am prone to heat exhaustion. So any chance of making it better for me was worth taking. It is very easy to use. Charge it up with the enclosed type C charging cable and download the app and you are ready to go. It does work without the app but the app makes it easier to control. Without the app you have to find the 2 control buttons and push them to the desired setting. It was hard to use the buttons without removing the device. It has heat and cooling settings. The heat setting is very nice. It relaxes your neck muscles and gives a nice warmth. In a cold office this is handy. The heat is warmth only without the fan. For cooling, the neckband is very cool and you can have the fan on 3 settings or off using the buttons on the device. There is more control function on the app. You also have the option of selecting the fan in the back of the neck, sides of the neck or both. On a hot day it was wonderful and kept me cool. A few things to note … I have a small neck and when bending my neck forward it hits my jawline. My husband has a bigger neck and it worked fine for him. It does get loud on the higher fan settings. The Coolify also weighs a little over a pound. This can strain your neck a bit after wearing it for a while, especially when bending your neck forward. The battery lasted about 4 hours with mixed use of heat, cooling and fan settings. There is a nice storage case included. The warranty is only 180 days.

Perfect for Personal Temperature Control
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my first personal air conditioner and I was eager to try out this Torras COOLiFY Cyber unit. App setup was easy and the Cyber was ready to go after a quick charge and a power button press (not hold). Even though you can control the device directly, I found changing the settings using the app made the user experience the best. I was able to visually change each setting and modify the heat and fan/cooling effects separately for the back and sides of the device. You can even turn the Cyber on and off using the app. I liked how Torras chose to focus on using this device for temperature control and did not focus on other unnecessary options. I was surprised by how fast this wearable air conditioner switched from heating to cooling and back. The fan is pretty quiet at low speeds, but can make it hard to hear past 50%. I can see this being great for use during hot weather, but don’t expect it to perform great in 100-plus degree weather while in the sun. I can imagine this best used for outdoor sporting events while in the shade or a crowded room without air conditioning. While wearing, I noticed the fit was pretty good and it didn’t feel too tight. Even during quick movements, the Cyber stayed in place. Battery life was pretty good at low speeds, but diminished quickly at higher percentages. I was, however, able to charge and use it at the same time. Pros App is perfect Great temperature control Keeps in place Comfortable Cons Hard to hear at higher speeds I would recommend this to help stay cool. I was skeptical about cooling vs fan, but am now a believer.

Feels Amazing!!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm always miserable during summer, or just any hot day. I just can't take it!! When I heard about this product, I just had to try it. The setup was easy. The Torras COOLify comes with a nice carrying case and a USB-C cable, but no power adapter. The app helps you understand the device better, with instructions for use, timer, and control over the cooling, fan, and heat mode. It's okay to have the app since the product has buttons where you can also control the modes. In my opinion, the Torras COOLiFY is a bit bulky, but keep in mind that I wasn't blessed with a long neck. So, this device looks and feels like I'm wearing a neck brace. With that being said, the fans are just underneath my ears, so wearing this while having a conversation is a bit hard since I can't hear. Although I have a short neck, the cooling airflow just hits the spot and feels nice around my neck and down my back. This device has three settings - low, medium, and high. You can also choose which fan you prefer, such as ones on the sides or on the neck. I work in retail, so this product will work just fine during hot days or just any day since it does have a fan mode. The heat mode is also nice, but not something I would use frequently since I'd rather have the AC on. Although it is somewhat larger than what I prefer,I'm willing to sacrifice that. I would rather be pleasant and comfortable than overheated and unhappy.
