Same hard drive as was in my laptop

People at Best Buy were great on instructing me on how to do the change. The hard drive that came out was a 7200 and all they had was 5300 but like they said, it I was not really a "gamer" or doing a lot of other things with it I would not notice the difference in speed. Using my laptop on motel server and those who travel a lot know how slow they can be at times, so I am looking forward to getting back to my modem at home to see if the difference in speeds makes a difference.

Great easy replacement upgrade

If you're looking for performance, there's plenty of others, but for a simple OEM upgrade this drive performs as good as a factory drive.

Great Drive

Excellent Hard Drive

It's runs cooler & is faster than the 500GB hard drive it replaced. I've had very good luck with Toshiba drives and look forward to this drive (hopefully) continuing the streak.

Quick, quiet hard drive.

I really wanted another 7200, but I opted for the larger capacity over the speed. I didn't really notice a big difference in speed and it is nice having a drive large enough to have 3 partitions and two different operation systems. The drive is also very quiet compared to my old one, which is a nice plus.
