Horrible
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Extremely slow processor makes it impossible to stream anything. Apps are constantly crashing. Home page is littered with ads. Had to buy a Roku and stream shows through that

NOT a smart tv, won't work with Alexa
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Reviews here must've been written by Toshiba employees. This "smart tv" came with a free AMazon echo. It doesn't work with this TV. Go online and you will see the frustration with gazillions of people unable to scan channels to use ALexa. You CANNOT USE ALEXA TO CHANGE THE CHANNELS OR DO ANYTHING ELSE like turn the TV off and on. It's a scam. The TV/remote is junk. Toshiba customer service no help and "accidently" cut me off because they KNOW there is no Alexa compatibility. And it came with a free Amazon Echo! The picture quality is awful too. I bought this as a second TV for my bedroom and I expected a sub-par picture quality, but it is worse than I expected. I can connect it to internet and watch Netflix, but the rest is a scam. And Best Buy customer service responded by trying to sell me a $199 Geek protection plan--that was their only answer. And they told me that I cannot ship the TV back. I'm not going to carry it on the subway in NYC!

Don't Buy wifi malfunctioning -- unusa
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.wifi and ethenet malfunctioning -- unusable August 4, 2018 Size: 32 inches Purchase in November. I only used the TV for a week and its now saying that it can't find the WiFi. The first week or so I had this TV - worked very well and was integrated with Direct TV Now. It was very easy to use. My Wifi is connected maybe 200 Feet away all my other devices was working just fine with full WiFi services except for this TV. I even rebooted the WiFi and it still won't connect. I called Best Buy and the other people but no one could help me. I just want my money back its not even worth it. Unable to use for its intended purpose of streaming with these issues. I can't stand this TV. Don't Buy

USB Port JPG Slide Show is No Good
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Playing a slide show of JPG pics on a flash drive is a big deal to an amateur but avid photographer such as myself. USB port is NOT an input function. It is a separate and difficult to use PROGRAM. The only way to see a slide show is to select all pictures ONE AT A TIME and press Play. When the slide show plays, it will not pause, go forward, or go back. The program will allow you to select the first picture and navigate forward and backward one at a time MANUALLY. I do not plan on sitting there clicking the navigation ring over and over again to continue to the next picture. Great TV. Built in fireTVstick allows full control with a single remote control. If you don't care about using the USB port to look at pictures, you may like this TV. If you EVER decide to look at your pictures in the future, good luck with that!

Worst TV
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It seems this was built in an ancient era as it never works and constantly freezes. It may be older than IE when it comes to buffering. You press a button now, and it responds after a few minutes. It always runs out of memory with inbuilt apps.

Not Bluetooth-enabled as originally listed
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this TV because it was on sale, and originally listed as Bluetooth-enabled if you got the 32". The TV has Bluetooth options in the Settings menu and Bluetooth speakers can be "discovered." However, when proceeding with pairing, the Bluetooth connection fails every time. Otherwise a good TV. Just wish I hadn't purchased for the BT connectivity.

Great at First, Doesn't Last
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this TV as a Christmas present for my daughter. Worked great until it stopped turning on. Had it for just 5 months, used it for 4. I contacted Toshiba support and figured that the back-light went out. Because it was within a year of purchase, The one-year limited warranty applied. When referencing this warranty, on page 29 of the manual included with this TV, it states that Best Buy is the warrantor, and I was also specifically told my Toshiba support to take it to a best buy location and have the Geek Squad handle this. However, when I contacted best buy I was told they would NOT honor the warranty, and I would have to pay for the repairs, which are as much as the TV cost. Do not trust this TV and DO NOT TRUST best buy to honor the included warranty.

Worst TV I have ever owned
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I can't think of a good thing to say. It's constantly losing internet connection. All my other devices work fine.I really needed this to work because the voice commands would have been great for me, I'm disabled. It may as well be in a dumpster.I cannot recommend this to a friend an enemy perhaps.

NO SLEEP TIMER !!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Who doesn't put a sleep timer on a 32" TV? This is not a primary TV, it's a bedroom TV!!!! Unbelievable. Everything else fades into insignificance if one can't have it shut off on a timer. I have not had a TV in 30 years without one. Unbelievable. What would it cost, a dime to include it in the software? Unbelievable.

Freezes daily
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased the TV and two weeks later it started freezing. Every. Single. Day! Doesn’t matter if the tv has been on for an hour or twelve hours still freezes. I have to hard reset it constantly. Wouldn’t buy this specific brand again.

NOT COMPATIBLE WITH NINTENDO SWITCH!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.DO NOT BUY if you are planning to connect a Nintendo Switch to this tv - apparently a firmware update last year causes the screen to be terribly fuzzy when connected to a Switch. I’ve tried other TVs in the home and different HDMI cords with no avail.
