Great, except for Fire TV

The sound is OK, so I bought a soundbar and now have great sound and picture. But the Fire TV log in time waiting for it to cycle through is ridiculous. I set the TV to go to the last channel and it always defaults to the home page. Had I researched Fire TV and found what it really is, I would not have bought this TV. I get reminders to connect to WiFi but I won't as I don't know will it do.
