    We picked this up for my daughter, and it's just awful. I don't know how it performs worse than the budget firestick, but it does. Want to stick on a movie for you kid to fall asleep to? 5-10 minutes of waiting and fighting, even after you make the effort to run a hard ethernet connection to the TV. I wish I could get my money back, but I'll just take pleasure in the day I upgrade the kids to something in the 43" range and donate this thing to it's next victim.

    Beware the Fire TV operating system. It is glitchy, routinely drops settings and doesn't play nicely with antenna or cable sources. If you want a straight streaming TV, maybe....but there are others out there that will do better than this.
