Good TV for Price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a good tv for the price, if you are looking for something to really amaze you, I would choose a Samsung or Sony TV. It's like the tv cannot catch up with the cable service and glitches sometimes.

Good value for non-smart TV
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Has a USB port but does not play videos, only pictures. Basic 1080p screen with hdmi ports, RCA and cable. Works well with Apple TV, but have to turn on TV manually.

Doesn't support USB video
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this for a specific reason, to play a wmv file from a USB drive. Despite reservations that it could do that, I was assures by the best buy associate that all new TVs can do that. They can't. I returned it 2 hours after buying it and got a smaller but more capable Samsung.

Great Budget HDTV
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this for my parents because I knew they'd never upgrade and I couldn't stand watching games with Dad on the old box. They were mad I bought and installed it and they said they were gonna take it back. I calmly walked out after the lecture. Got a call later....'um, we are gonna keep it'. Yes! They love it. It's a great size, the picture is fantastic, the sounds is decent, and it's SIMPLE to use. They are really happy and I'm happy as well. I might get one for the living room at my house where we use the Firestick on an older 32 inch Samsung primarily for Sophia The First/ESPN when I get booted from the den/etc. If you're on the fence just get it, you'll be happy with it.

*Skeptics Read Here*
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fear not skeptics! i was skeptical at first because of how low the price was for a name brand TV, but once i took it out the box and put it together it blew my mind how great it was. The picture quality is great, the sound is amazing, and for the price, you cant get any better than this. The only problem i had was that since i upgraded to a HD TV, at first the picture quality was awful. Until! i simply called my TV provider to have them install HD TV receivers. (Which was free to me). Afterwards, the quality was just awesome. This TV is worth way more than what its being advertised at so i extremely recommend it before they're all gone :)

Great value
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wanted to upgrade to a larger TV and after reading reviews choose this one. Its got a great picture, was easy to set up. Using it with a Roku, which is working well. I've had Toshibas in the past which have lasted years, so expect the same from this one.

Awesome for the kid's room.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Needed a TV for the kid's room and found this one on sale. I've had great experiences with Toshiba TV's especially with their amazing sound quality from the built in speakers, which are sound-bar quality. Good enough picture for price point. The TV is light with a slim profile. If you need a solid sized TV for a small price, this is the one.

Great 1080 tv for price!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was in the market for a new TV after my old 51in Sony projection died 2 weeks before Christmas. Because of the holidays, i could only afford around $200, so 4k was not an option. After reading dismal reliability reviews on Consumer Affairs website in regard to Vizio, Insignia and Westinghouse, I found this on sale for $230. Still owning a Toshiba 28in I purchased 7/8 years ago, I figured why not give this one a try. First, great price and great picture. I dont bother using the dynamic settings, as these seem to cause banding in the blacks. Picture mode of Natural, color temperature of warm, and backlight at 55, mpeg noise reduction at low and Im extremely pleased. For the cable box hdmi input, I changed color to limited. With 4k being 10bit color, the banding probably wouldnt be noticeable. But 720 and 1080 movies are only 8bit color. Second, Im not sure what all the complaints about the sound are all about. I have absolutely no issues with hearing voices or the sound being low. I dont have to turn up the TV past 25 (about quarter way)...and thats with 2 noisey kids in the room. I wouldve rated 5 stars, but the TV lacks component video inputs (the red, green and blue cables) and standard RCA (white and red) type outputs for sound. All in all though, a fantastic set given the price compared to the normally "cheaper/generic" brands.

Very poor quality
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Both the picture and sound are poor. The colors are off and there is not any definition. The background sounds always over power the voices so you have to turn the volume up very high.

Literally no complaints
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So I am not a seasoned TV buyer. This was my first real tv after having a $40 30" TV. I mainly bought this TV to play my Xbox one on. The picture is fantastic, all my games looks crystal clear. I almost spent another $150 on a 4k TV but I decided I didn't need it, and if you're like me and don't know a lot about TV's in the first place, you will be impressed by the quality of the picture. When I set out to buy a nice TV I had two options: 1. Buy a nice TV from a lesser known brand (Westinghouse, Vuze etc.) and pay about $100 less. 2. Buy from a trusted brand like Samsung and pay $100 more for the same specs, but possibly a more reliable product. This TV was in the middle, so I was unsure if I should make the jump. MAKE THE JUMP, there is nothing wrong with this TV, it looks great, it's thin, it's light (not that it really matters but hey its true), the boxing was was very safe, and I even love the remote. Buy this TV.

Great television, better price!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking for a simple tv that would suit for gaming on an Xbox One. I play competitive games, but not competitively and this TV looks fantastic. After testing with the Gears of War 4 Beta, input lag was pretty much imperceptible, which was a big plus. I'm sure it's not quite as fast as the 4K Vizios, but at half the price, it was a great deal. It's hard to get excited about the smart TV features that more expensive models bring to the table, especially if you own an Apple TV or other streaming box. The interfaces on Smart TVs are usually slow and buggy anyway, so not having those features in order to keep the prices low is brilliant. You can almost always get a better experience with a dedicated box than the integrated functionality anyway. I'm very happy with the purchase. If you're looking to get one, I found the color reproduction to be great and the quality of the panel at 1080p is excellent for the price. Lack of features is not something you should be concerned about at the price point, and if their absence keeps the costs low, I'm very happy. It looks great with an Xbox One and Apple TV. Best of luck!
