Don"t let the low price scare you away.This tv is a great. I bought it to replace a old 40" that blew up. I also have a sam sung 60 smart tv. The picture on this tv is close to that of the sam sung, and the speakers sound better. It's a steal

I purchased this TV because I've purchased Toshiba before and love the picture quality. Initially I went to purchase a 32" but the 43" was not much more money, sure happy I decided on the larger one. Great TV!

This tv has really nice picture and sound system especially that you're only paying $200 for it. Of course there are now "smart" tv and that's pretty much why customers prefer buying them over a "simpler" tv. But if you have an Apple TV or some sort of console/blue ray that allows you to use Internet and hence streaming services than this toshiba tv is good enough.

The deal was great. I was on sale when i got it for $229.99. Its SUPER clear when watching tv. As a PS4 owner, i get crisp graphics when playing GTA V, uncharted 4, and Watchdogs 2.

This TV is good but the remote control not so good, I can't turn on or off the TV.

I was looking for a basic LED TV, and found this one at a good price. Using a house antenna, the images are spectacular and the sound is superb! Just connect Roku, Chrome Cast, or a WiFi Blu-ray player, and you have a "smart TV"!

I will start by saying I am an avid video/audiophile. My main television is a reference quality model that has been ISF calibrated. I know a good picture when I see one. I purchased this Toshiba for a spare bedroom that gets used maybe twice a year. I previously had a very nice 42" Panasonic plasma TV in the room but it sadly started having issues. When I setup the Toshiba I could see immediately the picture was very clear although the colors were way off. I moved through the picture modes and landed on "movie" setting as it usually is the most accurate. That was definitely the case the here as well. Without any further adjustment I have to say the picture is very satisfying. Colors are clean, skin tones fairly natural and contrast/blacks are rich. I am blown away that a TV for this price has such a fantastic picture! I got the TV for $200 on an early black Friday sale but I can say without hesitation that the TV at its regular price of $229-249 is absolutely worth the price. The sound quality is acceptable for a bedroom. Even with the bass maxed out it has a hollowness. The DTS feature helps to create a nice improvement to an otherwise mediocre sound. Again the sound is acceptable especially at this price point. This TV is the definition of bang for the buck. Very happy with this purchase.

I was hesitant to get this TV at first because of it's size, but it did miraculously fit in my entertainment center. The set up was easy and the picture and sound are what I have come to expect from this brand. My 5 year old 39 inch went to the bedroom and I am thrilled with the DTS surround sound and picture. I did get a 2 year warranty, but expect no problems from this, just like the last one. If you want a great TV without having to worry about sound quality, this si the onee you want.

This tv was a great buy. For the price, this tv does very well. Great picture great features and vey light. Mounted it in my bedroom with a swivel tilt Moir with no problem at all. Has a great picture especially with HD content.

I'll go along with all the other review's accolades for this high value hdtv from Toshiba. For the $199.99 price + 5 year warranty price + tax I'm finding this 43" Toshiba hdtv offers more of what I want in a non-smart hdtv than my recently departed (kaput) $550 2 year old "other" very well known brand 47 inch hdtv: PCM output via the Toslink output when hooked up to an OTA antenna, a very "clean" screen, an almost 3D intensity while viewing Hulu tv shows #CSI for one), the good sound quality out of the speakers, the "meaningful" video adjustments, and did I mention the price to get into this quality viewing experience....? It's almost....no it is....amazing! LB

I have enjoyed my first Toshiba LCD tv so much, and haven't had any problems with it at all, so I bought another for the guest bedroom. Great picture quality at a great price.

Not 4k, not smart and 60 hz refresh rate make this tv far from cutting edge. That said, for $200 this tv is really tough to beat. I had to do a double take when I saw that sales price. It's a lot of tv for the money. This is lowest price that I found on a 43" set from a reputable brand (at least historically reputable). Picture looks very good and the sound is better than average. Great for a small living room, office, kitchen, bedroom... If you are concerned about it's durability you can add a 5 year Best Buy protection plan for only $39.

I purchased this TV in May and it still is going strong. I needed it for moderate gaming and moderate tv watching. I love using this tv. I have it on roughly 12 hours a day and it is still going strong. So far so good. This would not be a terrible purchase if you get it.

I bought this TV to replace an older 32 inch TV. At 43 inches, this Toshiba is fantastic! The picture is clear and bright, detailed and as this was placed in a very long living area, the ability to see this from the end of the living room is great. We hooked this up with an Insignia sound bar and the result for action films and sports is wonderful.

Replaced an aging LG 32" and don't regret it. This TV performs more than adequate for a small living room or bedroom. If you want to have high fidelity sound don't buy a sub $300 TV. I am very pleased with sound and picture and can't beat the price. I got it before Black Friday event for only $249.

TV works great i have no problems for the price great color and features 3 hdmi connects works great with my amazon box good deal.

I bought the tv for a great price, the size for the price was incredible. Also that it was 1080 quality was great. I am happy with my purchase.

You aren't going to find many 43" TVs in the price range, other than off-brands like WestingHouse or Element, which often have quality issues. Toshiba is definitely one of the better brands out there for TVs (trailing behind Samsung/Sony/Phillips). Even though its not a Smart TV, it really isn't that big of a deal because of products like Chromecast/AppleTV/Fire Stick/Roku.
