Needed to replace my old tube TV at the summer home, compared many LED TV at the store and found the Picture, Price and size would work great. No issue in setting it up, very easy, work great nice clear picture.

For the price this tv is nice. Not smart tv but wasnt looking for one. Great picture. Perfect size for my bedroom. Easy setup. Remote could be better. No previous channel for example

I found this model online and went to the Best Buy store and they had it in stock. This was bought as a computer monitor and won't be used as a standard TV anytime in the foreseeable future. My wife's woman's cave needed a monitor bigger than a 27" so she can relax on her couch with her wireless keyboard/mouse and read the text on the screen while being about 6 feet from the screen. The 43" Toshiba does the trick. I'm very surprised at the quality of the screen. Normally, the text, when using a TV as a computer monitor, is a bit washed out. Not on this. The picture is every bit as good as the Samsung 27" computer monitor it replaced. Check out the 2 photos. Although the pics don't do it justice, perhaps you can tell how well this TV looks compared to a standard computer monitor.

This is an amazing value. The picture quality is excellent and the input lag is very low. This is great choice for a low-cost secondary TV for a bedroom or similar. We got this for our son's room. He is a big gamer and is quite pleased with it.

Wanted to replace the 32 inch TV that sits inside a large armoire in our den with a larger screen. After carefully measuring the width inside, I reviewed many of the 40, 42 and 43 inch offerings. This Toshiba not only received very good overall reviews, but fits perfectly in the cabinet...and at a price I was happy to pay. Note to all: Rarely is ANY TV going to provide an optimal picture out of the box. More often than not, the image will significantly out of calibration...and don't blame the manufacturer. After leaving the factory (usually from overseas), these fairly-sensitive electronic items are bounced around through the shipping process, and are likely to be exposed to ranges of temperature and humidity by the time you get it home and unbox it. Also, the room you set it up in might be very bright, or dark...or changing in brightness. The screen might look OK in bright rooms, but then have too much 'punch' when the room is darkened. You need to play with the image settings to get the picture at its best, and might need to adjust for a happy medium if the light level in the room changes a lot during typical viewing. The biggest problem I saw out of the box was flesh tones. It took a while to get them corrected. Ended up having to lower the brightness and raising the contrast a little...then adjusting the tint until people's faces were neither too pink or too green. Overall color was a little too saturated as well. Backing that down required a little tweaking of the previous settings...so be prepared to go over most if not all the settings again (and again), as they are inter-related...sorta like a Rubik's Cube. Also, look at different channels or sources as they are not always going to have the same signal quality. Again, you may have to go for a happy medium. Once it's all dialed in...GREAT PICTURE! We're extremely please with this purchase! Only complaint is that this model was not on display at our local Best Buy and we would have liked to check out the picture to see not only how it looked, but how it compared to other similar models. But bear in mind, the last I heard, the TV's on display are almost never calibrated or optimized either. I seem to recall that one manufacturer, Samsung maybe, DOES have someone visit to do just that to their models. So just that you know...it can be a mixed bag as far as being able to view a floor model at its best...at any store.

My only real complaint would be the remote, no direct channel access. I have a top of the line TV with all the bells and whistles in my main viewing area, needed something more basic in spare room. This TV at the price is perfect, good picture, provides exactly what I was looking for.

I've primarily been using this TV for gaming on my PS4/Switch over the past few weeks and I love it. The colors pop, the built-in speakers sound quite nice, and there's no input lag. A great entryway to 1080p television.

Great TV. Easy to assemble. Price was terrific. Service received at Joplin store was great. Staff understood needs and had information available to help make decision.

This has been an excellent TV-great picture, large enough without being over powering in the room. Easy to set up, using it with the Roku, and loving it.

Great TV for the price. Picture is great. Controls are easy to use. Only one complaint. The remote provided did not work. Tried multiple sets of batteries. I ended up just using a universal one I had laying around. It works perfectly with the TV.

Great 1080p image. Super lightweight. Set up was a breeze. The only complaint(minor) is that the controller seems really low in quality but not the tv. Great tv for the price overall.

I was looking for another TV for my bar area. I own several other brands. This was on sale and since it's a Toshiba I took a longer look at it. I read the reviews, visited the store to actually see the picture. It had all the features I needed so I bought it. Compared ot the 42 I already had in its place, This one was much lighter and easier to hang. The picture is great, the sound is good as well although I ended up connecting it to a sound system. It it easy to set up and was trouble free. I would be another one.

Love my new Light weight TV it work well and has bright vivid color. Lots of different screen modes to choose from and has great sound with DTS TruSurround speakers built-in.

Being elderly TV is used mostly for company. I looked at several much bigger ones, but I didn't want one that is in your face constantly! This TV is basic, easy to use, and a breeze to set up. I use it through my audio system so can't vouch for the sound. Seems OK though. Picture is great. Delivery was spot on with no damage or dents. Younger folks might want a much bigger TV for the "cinema effect", but for every day use watching the news and HGTV etc. it is just right!

Very nice tv with great picture. Great colors. I have a hearing loss and the max volume is not loud enough like my last tv. Good for good hearing.

Good picture and easy set up, plenty of HDMI inputs...only down side is only 1 three plug input(white yellow red). Good for a bedroom with limited space using a wall mount.

Bright, clear picture with beautifully saturated colors. Better than expected sound quality. 3 HDMI inputs. And all at a great price.

This is a good tv, with good reception, picture and easy to set up; But the two things about this Toshiba that one might want to consider; are: if you are going to sit it on a flat surface on it's included legs; it does not have any place on the back to tie to the wall, to prevent tipping. Also there are not any audio out ports on this tv. so you can't hook it up to external/surround sound speakers. Otherwise - great buy and good product.
