Not a good experience
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought it on a Friday, set it up and worked fine. Got up Saturday morning... It was DEAD! I mean, wouldn't even power up. Took it back to BB and bought the Samsung for $50 more... No problems. Also, I had never owned a Fire TV. According to the BB staff, you can't get around the feature on Fire TVs that takes you to the Fire home screen, rather than where you were last, eg, television. I don't think I would have liked that.

Thank you for your feedback and sorry to hear about your negative experience. To change the TV to power up directly to the last input setting, press the Home button on your remote control and select the Settings menu. Then select the Display & Sounds menu and change the Power On setting to Last Input. With this new setting, the TV will power up to the last input that was watched.

Software problems after one year

I have tried everything from resetting to factory defaults...it keeps doing the same thing. Within seconds of making a channel or app choice it will divert you back to the Amazon prime app repeatedly. Then if you choose anything on prime, it will stop in less than a minute and go back to the main prime screen again. I’m sooooo disgusted!!! I loved it for one year, now I’m ready to throw it out the window. Not only this one is malfunctioning, I purchased a 55 inch Toshiba fire close to the same time I bought this one for another room. IT IS MALFUNCTIONING AS WELL!!!! Never will I purchase this brand again. I can’t even express the level of disgust I am feeling right now!!!!!

Thank you very much for reviewing our Toshiba TV. The TV does include controls for Sleep Timer and picture/audio settings.
To access these, press and hold the Home button on your remote and select from the menu that pops up.

Every other restart has to unplug and replug to get moniot to sync. Do not buy this monitor if your gonna use with a pc. Cant say for ps or nintendo never tried.

Good Interface but picture quality is not great

Sadly the picture performance was simply not good enough as dark scenes were very hard to see. I ended up returning it and purchased a Samsung instead for 100 more. Well worth it for me.

I bought a Logitech remote for 50$ and it doesn’t work with the tv too. Can only turn it on but can not pair with any remote so I cannot use the tv so I gave it back

TV doesn't handle scaling properly when using a PC via HDMI at all. Constantly boots up into a poor resolution that I have to correct. A real thumbs down as it's primarily used as a monitor.
