How do you wall mount this?

There is something wrong with the back of the TV, quick guide says mounting holes are 200x300, these holes are not even close to that.

Great picture but missing some key features

    Posted .

I assumed that it would have the screen mirroring feature like my Fire TV stick does but for some reason it doesn't...why don't they have that feature since even the very old Fire TV sticks have that? Then another missing feature is adjusting the screen mode or aspect ratio...for me personally I like the video to fill the screen...I was really disappointed that such basic features included on the Roku TVs aren't on the Fire TVs...

It's great, when it actually works

My other devices have no issue connecting to the internet, so that's no the issue. However, even when the wifi isn't being used on anything but the T.V. way too often, it wont load anything, takes forever to load, drops the signal. When it works, it works amazingly well and has a great image. But when it won't work it's unusable until it decides to stay with the wifi signal. I don't hate it, but am annoyed by it.

Good picture but our screen got hot after being on for a couple hours during a football game. We got it on a good sale though.

We bought this TV to replace a 12 yr old LG 42" 720p LCD which is beginning to die. It's for the Bedroom so I didn't want to go overboard and spend too much and the sale price was enticing. Once unboxed it was simple enough to get together and get up and running but we immediately noticed a couple significant downfalls. Picture quality is really not good....for a 4k TV. Yeah it's not terrible, but don't be fooled into believing this is anywhere near the image quality of ANYTHING from LG, Sony, Samsung or even Vizio. I tried numerous times to make image adjustments but the settings are limited and do very little to improve the graininess of the images. This is an issue because most sources are still only 720 or 1080p. 4k feeds such as Netflix, Youtube etc are ok, but the image is not nearly as good as the brands mentioned above. To be clear, I also have an LG 4K smart tv which is one of the lower level LG's and the image quality is easily twice the quality of this TV. Additionally, this tv struggles with making good HDMI connections. The connectors on the back of the TV are loose which is a problem since this is the primary connection to most devices and signals today. Build quality is also a concern as I hope this thing lasts. There is a reason this TV is not on display running a 4k image at the store. Also, sound levels change on their own around and onscreen movement can get jump. Strongly consider spending $40 more for a name brand. You won't regret that decision like I do this one.

    Not So Good

Toshiba - 43” Class, LED, 2160p, Smart, 4K UHD TV w/ HDR, Fire TV Edition actually turning on is about the only highlight this unit has. How this particular model, at least, has gotten to a 4.6 rating is beyond me. The colors fade and change hue constantly using cableTV or AppTV. I spent a long time trying to adjust the picture and display settings to no avail since the firmware doesn't allow an on-screen picture while attempting to make adjustments. "Picture" doesn't have any adjustment when using an App. If you don't mind terrible colors it's usable. It's definitely NOT what I expected from a "Ultra High" featured unit. FireTV and Alexa? Not really my 'cup of tea' either! FireTV's menu needs a "navigation" overhaul. The Prime App doesn't differentiate between non-prime and 'prime include' programming as it does on a smart player. Alexa helps and does make getting through the menu easier but, her vocabulary could use some tweaking - i.e. "input" should at least bring up a suggestive menu without actually having to say "show me 'INPUTS', "S" added. I think the unit should have more common Apps preloaded. After finally giving up on the color settings, I returned the unit. Come to find out, I wasn't the only customer to have the same complaint! My very old LG Plasma and a Samsung "smart" blu-ray player works great - easy menus and correct screen colors!

    Hangs when changing Inputs

Brand new TV, randomly hangs with black screen when switching input from online apps to antenna, no matter what channel was on. The black screen shows channel and whats on and there are icons of other shows below but no picture. does this randomly, only way to fix is to restart the tv via the menu, a few times it was totally locked up and I had to unplug the TV. Toshiba tech support was no help.

    Disappointing Washed Out

I replace the Westinghouse 720P flat screen with this set, expecting a much more vibrant experience, but was very surprised and how heavy the TV is, and how washed out the picture is, I'm not impressed at all. I get frustrated with people who automatically give something a 5-star rating, when it's not deserved, it betrays the rest of us who are accounting on an accurate portrayal of the performance of the set.

Good TV - Very Bad Best Buy Open Box

I purchased this TV as an open box "Satisfactory" that stated "Nonessential parts or accessories may be missing". Got it home and discovered NO feet/stand and NO remote! Ok, HOW is one supposed to set the TV up without a stand? I think EVERYONE would say that feet/stand is essential! And the attendant at the local pickup was rude and would not answer questions. What extraordinarily poor customer service!

I was so excited to get this TV, but it will not even connect to cable!! We tried two separate TV tuners with no luck. Contacted both Toshiba and my cable company with no help! So disappointed. It had so much potential, but there is no point in having a TV with no cable. Will be returning.

Bought the TV, got it home and set up, nothing on the remote works other than the power button. Looked online and apparently this is a common thing with this TV. Also there is not even buttons on the side of the TV for the volume or channels.. it's going to be returned today.

    Avoid at all costs

My wife and I decided to buy two if these TVs (one for our bedroom and one for our workout room) both sets exhibit the same issues. Pros - Buying these televisions will most likely not kill you. Cons - both remotes work only in turning the sets on... no other functionality (though you can download the fire TV app and use it as a remote) - both sets constantly freeze send become unresponsive. The only way to resolve this issue is to perform a hard reset on the unit. - both sets tend to disconnect from wifi (one won't connect at all) If I could give these items a negative review I would.
