This has been a fantastic TV. Killer 4k picture, good sound even without a sound bar or external speakers, and it offers all of the apps you might want. I think I paid $249 or something like that for this TV, on sale at the store, and it was an awesome deal for an extra TV for our bedroom.

Absolutely great TV for the price at which I purchased it. The system is a bit strange to get acquainted with, but since my significant other and I just have Netflix, we are able to enjoy it to the fullest. Very clear picture and sound, might even have paid full price for this unit. Thankfully we only had to wait 3 hours in line for it.

If you want a quality picture for gaming or just watching TV for dirt cheap ...then this is the purchase for you. However - it needs to be in a room where the TV will only be viewed DIRECTLY IN FRONT OF THE SCREEN. The slightest of viewing angle from the side will diminish the brightness, clarity and color of the image.

The quality and price are unreal. The TV has the best picture of any i looked at.

Technically, it works, yes. But if you plan to use this as a computer monitor, whatever you do, do not sign in or initiate the SMART function! If you do, you will regret it because every time you step away or turn it off, you will have to go through entering a series of commands with the remote just to get to the input you were most recently using. There is no input button on the remote, just soft menus on-screen. What is worse is trying to use it between two different computers, say a work laptop and personal laptop. Auto-switching would really have helped here. There is no auto-switching like on my 12 year old flat screen. "That's not what it's made for." Well, no, but why pay twice as much just for a stripped down firmware? Maybe it is just the brand, but I doubt it. Can you even buy a DUMB tv anymore? Oh, I almost forgot. Don't you dare try to use this tv without the remote. It will nag you to death that it can't find the remote unless you have it available and it has good batteries in it.

For $ tv is great for value. Excellent view great apps

The picture quality and features are decent for the price. The contrast could definitely be better, but I am using it on an enclosed patio, so it is impossible to get the area darker during the day. After using a Roku for years, I can say that I much prefer it over Fire TV. If I could do it over again, I would have bought a comparable Roku TV. I will probably be adding a Roku stick to this TV.

I am happy with the 42.5 inch Toshiba 4K ultra high definition especially the price. I would have given a 5 Stars if Amazon Fire TV Edition did not require a credit card to set up just the Basic connection with Wi-Fi and Alexa voice activated remote control. The TV should be default when you turn on the device. I also don't feel comfortable providing my credit card for this television.
