It's so convenient to have access to Fire TV through the tv itself. Maybe because I'm used to the Fire TV format, but this tv is extremely accessible.

Bought this for my husband’s office. Just right since we canceled our cable and went to streaming. Perfect since it has FireTV. I would recommend this tv. So far, so good!

Wasn't so sure about the Fire TV edition, but I love it! Couldn't beat the great deal I got on this purchase. Best Buy is always a great place to purchase from.

Looks great; no complaints about how it looks. My only gripe is the Amazon UI and having to select an input instead of auto feed. Won’t knock the TV for that just opinions.

      Hi,

Thank you very much for reviewing our Toshiba TV. To change the TV to power up directly to the last input setting, press the Home button on your remote control and select the Settings menu. Then select the Display & Sounds menu and change the Power On setting to Recent row. With this new setting, the TV will power up to the last input that was watched.

This Fire TV was so easy to set up! (And it was easy on the pocket as well.) Who needs cable??? My guest bedroom is one of the more welcoming rooms in the house! I am so pleased!

I got a great deal on this tv. On sale-open box-and reward money ...made this very affordable. $160. I live that fire TV is already in the tv. It makes it very easy to use.

First new flat panel TV for us. It is so great it even works on old indoor style antenna. The picture quality is so that even old camara made VHS tapes are looking fantastic.

This tv has good picture quality and is a good bargain for 4k quality. I wouldnt recommend it if you dont use amazon prime tv because it is basically a amazon tv device. But if you do use amazon it is great

Great 4 K picture. TV assumes that you mostly want to use Netflix or similar, instead of cable or satellite. Was hoping to use Alexa with it but have not succeeded, possibly due to lack of adequate documenhtation

Issues with TV functionality (needs updating)

I rate this as a 2.5 but can't. If Toshiba fixes these issues, then I will gladly rate as a 4.3. Here's issues causing problems for my young son and is the reason for the low rating. 1) Can't turn on the TV to HDMI1. Xfinity box is hooked to HDMI-1 and cable TV is all he uses. I should be able to specify, when powering on, to choose launch screen as HDMI 1-3, or antenna or Home or use last selected input as most all other Toshiba's do. I know you can select last input but it is hard for him to remember how to change to HDMI1. Compounding the issue is #2 below. 2) When powering on (using last input as the option), then the TV starts up with a small box in the top right corner if HDMI1 was last viewed . This is NOT the last selected input. It is a HYBRID input combining HDMI1 with HOME. This leads to issue 3. 3) I have to use two remotes to turn on the TV (Toshiba and Xfinity) and go back and forth using several push button selections to just get to full screen cable. BAD! 4) I have an Echo Dot. You can't turn on the TV using "Alexa, turn on TV" Noooo You have to say "Alexa, turn on the Fire TV" Now my son thinks the TV is on fire...... With the FIre cube and Sammy TV, it's "Alexa, turn on the TV" and away it goes. 5) There is currently no users operator manual. How and I suppose to figure out how to set up this complicated TV? OK, so one is coming but they should have had one at launch time. 6) TV picture is a bit less than fair on regular TV shows (non-HD). As another mentioned, screen saver looks good. Now for the good. 1) Toshiba tech support seems good. 2) What you get for the price is great. I'm not into smart TV's yet but seems to be the wave of the future. My son handles Comcast OK but this thing is much too much for him now. If Toshiba can fix the turn on issues, then he will be able to use it without my help. 3) Hopefully, Toshiba will listen to customers and fix these issues. I'm not too worried as they can be fixed with some software. 4) If you don't have cable TV and can remember the Alexa DOT commands, then it appears to be a good box.

It's pretty simple and direct for a TV. You plug it in, connect it to WiFi, log it into Amazon and boom you have an Alexa TV. The picture is good, the software easy to use.

Very good quality for the price you are paying. It has fire tv built in, and is 4K and HDR capable. Had it for about 1 year and no problems so far.
