    It’s a great TV but the picture shuts off and I can still hear the sound. I’m thinking that it’s a defect hopefully I can get a replacement since it was a Christmas gift for someone.

    This remote control is horrible. It first, drained batteries every two days. Then after 3 months of use and 50 dollars in batteries, it has stopped working.

    Problems with it as soon as we bought it, screen would go black and only sound, worked for a bit after we called CS, but only worked for a bit and went back to screen going dark about 15 minutes after turning on.

    After a month the hdmi ports will only display a pink screen I have to hit the home button and select the hdmi input 3 or 4 times for the picture to show on screen pretty disappointed in the tv I guess you get what you pay for

    My package arrived opened and with a missing remote control. Definitely a bad experience. Had to wait in line for 20 minutes return it at the store.

    Not a great experience -- the TV did not function well. Within the first hour of watching a movie the screen flickered to a black screen on several occasions. Later that evening there was terrible static coming from the speakers which required the TV to be unplugged to make it stop. The next morning it had trouble turning on, and then had the bottom half of the screen all pixelated. I had the TV for less than 24 hours before returning to my local store.

    it was great at the beginning, great pictures images super bright and clear. But, all of the sudden a dark thin line appeared on the top of the TV - Had to returned it.

    Terrible. While it’s a nice looking thing - it gets old when you’re trying to watch tv and the screen goes black and you’re left with sound only. If I wanted to listen to shows with audio only I’d listen to true crime podcasts instead of spending money on this giant nonsense that I had to maneuver on my own to and from the store when I bought and ultimately returned for its utter and complete excuse for a television that this piece of plastic with electronics contains. Honestly- take all of these fire tv off the market until they actually work like they are supposed to

    Screen goes blank after 20 minutes of usage. From what I can see, this is a common problem with this TV. Tried to get warranty support and I discovered Toshiba TV USA doesn't exist anymore. Keep going in circles between Best Buy and various Toshiba phone numbers, each saying the product is not covered.

    If you lose the remote you're out of luck until you order another, no buttons on tv. Tv always has to be reset as it freezes.

    Do not buy. TV shuts off every 15-20 minutes when streaming videos on any app. Sound is also very poor; it is constantly switching between left/right speakers. You are FAR better off buying any other TV and then a Fire streaming device separately. I tried to return this item the week I set it up, but I could not make it to the store in time due to work and now I’m stuck with it... I honestly will likely toss it in the garbage if Best Buy will not ultimately accept the return, as I don’t believe anyone would even take this for free.

    The very first day we used this TV the screen just went black but the audio was still working. Sometimes we can watch it for 30 minutes before it goes black and sometimes it’s just a few minutes. It doesn’t matter which app we are watching TV on. Every time it goes black you have to turn it off and then back on.

    BUYERS BEWARE! I should have been mindful of the negative reviews! SAVE YOUR MONEY! The TV has this line that doesn't go away and appears on every channel/ subscription making it hard to see. We've requested for the Tech Team to come out twice to resolve the issue and both times were unresolved. What a waste of money for a TV that doesn't work correctly and the added protection plan meant nothing. Really sad my almost $300.00 TV can't be repaired by the people who issued it to me.

    Buyer beware it broke two months out of warranty. The backlight or something went out and we get audio but just a black screen. If you call toshiba for support this is a best buy exclusive and they send you to geek squad. Geek squad simply doesnt care. Quoted 200 plus parts to fix it which means might as well buy a new one. No more Toshiba or Best Buy for me. Good job!

    Every 7-20 minutes the screen turns black while the audio is still going. It’s very annoying trying to watch a movie.
