Worst experience buying my first 4k TV it keeps turning off while watching movies and it's liked the led turned off or something the screen just went blank and I'm still hearing audio of the movie

TV was great until it wasn't. Screen keeps blacking out in just under a year. Taking it back tomorrow to get another TV

Had to return. Was certified open box but didn’t function properly

Like other 1 star reviews, the TV blacks out within a few minutes of watching while the sound is still ongoing. I tried everything online, but the issue is still there. I think Toshiba sent a defective batch to sell them off during Black Friday. Gonna return it tomorrow!

Has the hook up for everything that you have but it wants you to get a Amazon account first before you can get anything

The overall exterior design of this Toshiba TV is generic, color accuracy is average, and the UI is decent with the FireTV OS. However, the biggest disappointment is in the quality control. Immediately after initial setting up the TV, I noticed random periodical dimming of the backlight. By the second day that I owned it, the backlight was completely dead. I have returned it.

Set up tv. All the fancy updates. Now updating my Xbox and the picture blanks out. Still have sound. The sounds from the remote buttons. Stumbling through the menu. You can hear everything, without a picture. And to top it off Best Buy will not take it back because I am past the 15 days.

I HAD PURCHASED 5 YEAR WARANTY, I WENT TO BEST BUY O/A 28SEP, EXPLAINED PICTURE WAS NOT GOOD, WAS TOLD I HAD TO BRING IT BACK 15 DAYS AFTER PURCHASE TO GET EXCHANGE OR CREDIT.... THEY SHOULD HAE TOLD ME THIS BEFORE I PURCHASED. I HAVE ORDERED A TV OFF OF AMAZON AND WHEN IT ARIVES I WILL RETURN THIS TO BESTBUY, WHEN I PURCHASE FROM BESTBUY I EXPECT THEM TO STAND UP TO THEIR STORE NAME

TV kept returning to main menu while watching a program. Toshiba customer service determined it to be defective. Customer service with Best Buy was fantastic and made the return process painless at the local store. Purchased a different manufacturer’s product.

Tv turns off every 5 min. And it has fast remote response but . I bought it on clearance .

The TV didn't work straight out of the box. It would turn on for a few seconds, then switch right off again. After restarting/resetting the TV multiple times I was finally able to keep it on for a few minutes, thinking everything was finally good to go. And then it shut off on me again and wouldn't turn on that time until hours later.

Set the ty up and as my daughter was watching it, the screen goes black but sound is still on. All updates were completed and nothing could fix it. Took it back the next day. Unfortunately it’s an issue that happens to this model of tv often.

Bought this TV December 2020. After having it for 6 months I’ve had issues with the screen going black. I did some research and saw I should put the backlight down because it could be using too much energy. The backlight is almost all the way down and I’m still having the same issue and the screen goes black after 10 minutes of being on.

Shuts off after like 5 minutes of being paused. Incredibly annoying to have to turn it back on and navigate back into my app when all I wanted was to pause it for a bathroom break or snack break. No way around it, it happens literally every time.

Do yourself a favor and don't waste your money with this product. TV hadn't even been in my household for 4 full days and already isn't working. None of the HDMI inputs are working and the TV itself is just seemingly glitchy. TV has a mind of its own just selecting random apps. Going to return to the store ASAP. Lesson learned to stick with brands known best.

TV keeps shutting down. Called geek squad and they came out to fix it but he brought the wrong mother board. That was a week ago he took picture and said they would order correct one and come back to fix. Called this past Tuesday and said they would get back with me later that week. As of today I have not heard anything or seen any one to fix.

I am unable to make any positive statements about this TV other than it has a picture.

This is a HORRIBLE brand. After day 3, I had a pink line appear on my TV...then after one year and two months, the tv just started glitching, and it turned completely red (picture). I don't move this tv, and I live alone, so this tv does not move at all.

Do not buy a Toshiba Fire TV. There are some very common problems with it. My screen goes blank after about 10-15 minutes but the audio still continues to play. You have to turn the TV off and then on again. I’ve researched the internet and there is no solutions that work for me. This TV is a piece of garbage. Mine is only about 6 months old.
