Stay Away

Have this tv in a vacation home and it lasted all of 3 years - with only periodic use - maybe 12 times per year. In past year the non stop issue of 'black screen'. I think it has something to do with updates to software. There are quite a few videos and discussions online about how to fix - including the ever so helpful "check to see if tv is plugged in", or "check to see if all the connections are connected", or "reset to factory settings", etc. Amazon also suggests it's the internet service - no, everything else works perfectly. I've done it all, spending hours messing with this thing instead of enjoying a simple movie. Stay away from this product.

Poor picture quality

For a 4K display it just wasn't very good. I have much larger TV's in my home and they have a much better and clearer picture and aren't 4k. Very disappointed Returned To Best Buy.

I missed having a dedicated channel up and down button on the remote. Returned TV due to two quality issues. Sound would cut out often , randomly for a second, sometimes longer during over the air and streamed content. About a month after using it the video started to "glitch", showing pixelated squares randomly.

Hisense = Poor Quality and Weak Warranty

Best Buy only covers products for 15 days and they referred me to the manufacturer which has a 1 year warranty. Although the TV says Toshiba, Hisense is the company responsible and they refused to stand behind their product and said it must be physical damge, even though the TV was never damaged and was protected on wall mounts. It was a good TV for a few weeks until it stopped working. Quite disappointed in Hisense and their poor quality. Buying Hisense makes Nosense.

This Set is a Lemon

After that, the screen went black (while the audio was fine) and I couldn't get it back on without turning the set off and back on. Checked around online, and this is an overheating issue with the backlight. Tried it again, and sure enough - stayed on for ~30 minutes or so and went black again. Wow, Toshiba - you have lost a customer for life. Even more frustrating? - the set updated its firmware the minute I set it up and it STILL has this issue. Returning immediately.

Piece of Junk and Poor Customer Service

We bought this on Prime Day through Best Buy. The only remedy that Best Buy would give was a link to the User Manual and blamed Toshiba. I've gone through all of the troubleshooting that I found on the web but to no avail. I will continue using Amazon but I would think twice about buying anything else from Best Buy. Poor Customer Service and No Accountability. Amazon refunded our money but no thanks to Best Buy.

Best Buy Deceiving, TV Great
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this TV as an open box EXCELLENT purchase and what I got was a tv with no tempt and no stands and no box or any original packaging and it was wrapped in bubble wrap. Really disappointing since the grade was excellent which includes those things but I guess not anymore. Wow. TV is great though just the deception is insulting.
