We had to return it because there was a strong odor coming from it. Hard to describe but not necessarily at burning smell. Best Buy took it back with no problem and had another of the same model sent to my house. This one has a similar odor but very slight. Its not a problem. We are enjoying the TV very much.

Great value, wonderful children's television

It's super easy to use and setup, and is easy enough to use my nearly four year old daughter is already a pro. No need for a cable box or card if you utilize the apps as we do. YouTube on the big screen for the win. Great quality picture and audio for the money. Easily the best TV for your buck hands down. Toshiba hit a home run with this product.
