This was meant for my mother in law. The times I have watched it a used it I found its so much faster than my other smart TVs. I don't know what the trick is but it comes up faster and responds faster than my Samsung or my ROKU

Great tv! Had it over a couple of years and it works awesome!

This was a replacement for Plasma HDTV. The picture is crisp, sharp and vivid. I really live this HDTV.

Nice TV works well but with one fatal flaw. At least to me it is, Channel numbers do not appear in OTA Guide. Just ABC, CBS etc Logos. Can not tell which CBS it is showing Madison or Rockford. Pity. I would like to know what channel number I am switching to. Not happy about alphabetical guide rather than by channel number. Should be sort-able.

Purchased on 15-Mar-19 worked great with SLING until SLING updated their app on 20-Mar-19. Now you get a double picture after local ads are inserted into the commercial space. Spoke with both Sling and Fire TV folks who acknowledge this issue. I have three other TV's on FireTV or Fire Stick and they all work fine with SLING. The issue appears to be that the 43" FIRE TV is a revision behind in the FIRE OS update cycle. This TV works great with Netflix, Pluto, etc. Hopefully they fix this soon.

Started out well the first week then it started shutting down randomly. Furthermore, i was promised sling tv for 30 days and when I put in the code it didnt work. False promise by best buy. TV picture is good and it syncs well with my Amazon account.

I will never get another amazon fire tv. Way worse than any other tv I have ever dealt with. We use this TV for streaming only. We have reliable internet but somehow hulu always crashes. Can't even get through one episode without it crashing at least 4 times. Very glitchy and slow. You need to have an amazon account and credit card info to download any app even if it is free. Entirely too annoying of a TV. Alexa is not well functioning and never should have been included on this device. This TV is so disappointing. The remote is also extremely touchy. Even when you don't push a button, it thinks you did. Good picture and sound quality. Otherwise, not a good investment.

Great item and deal! Was hesitant at first to buy "opened" but this purchased wiped out my worries and any future concerns to buy similarly in the future. We love themtv and all the functions it has!

I purchased this model in 2019 and here i am in 2024 already replacing it. The picture quality and sound are great and thats where it ends. The streaming is super laggy and slow to move around the Fire interface. I will never purchase another Toshiba or Fire tv. Buying a TV and a separate firestick works 100% better.

Had this TV for almost 4 years now and its been great.

The TV itself is OK. Its when you use the apps that things start to fall apart. There is very small limited memory and the thing constantly boggs down to a very slow, very frustrating crawl. I use utility apps to try to clean things up and sometimes it works. Most of the time its bog down time and then just when you think it can't bog any more, it reverts back to the home screen. Again, I clean memory out to to no avail. The remote is terrible. It has buttons only and a "clicker" for up, down and sideways. You have to buy a 3rd party remote control that has a keyboard and small mouse pad. If you really want to do some good ole hardcore cord cutting buy a good TV and couple it up with an up to date Android box.

I purchased this tv in August. In September I started having issues with the sound turning off and the only way to get it back on was to turn the tv off and back on or go to the input and choose the input again. I called customer service and a technician was sent out and he stated that the main board needed to be replaced. The main board was replaced and guess what, it’s doing the same thing AGAIN. I’m very disappointed in the quality of this television and do not recommend that anyone purchases this television.

Had this tv for a month before it broke and I returned it. That’s not why I didn’t like it though. There’s no traditional remote- just the fire remote. It’s simply too difficult to configure. At one point - while trying to customize settings such as brightness or color - you had to change the settings then reset the input to see the result - then if you didn’t like it you then had to go back and try again. Poorly designed interface.

Bought this, had good reviews and built in fire tv. After a few days voice commands don't work and the remote is hard to navigate manually. I'll be returning this.

Purchased as a gift for my daughter. Install and set up went okay. About a month later, the TV randomly dropped her wifi connection. Absolutely no amount of searching could get this TV to find the router. Disgusted, we plugged in a fire stick and it worked. About a month later and the TV can’t find the fire stick! I have never been more disgusted with a TV in my life! If I could return it, I would.

I bought this from Best Buy through their selling it on Amazon. It's the first so called 'smart TV' I've owned, but 'smart' isn't an appropriate word. There's ALWAYS a problem. Always. I have to reset the TV every day, maybe multiple times a day to get to streaming anything to do anything. Besides that, it routinely 'isn't connected to the internet' even though I can be using a computer connected to the same exact internet connection and signal. So, I plugged in an ethernet cable directly from the router, and set it to use that Same thing, even though if I unplug the ethernet cable from the TV and plug it into the computer, the internet is working perfectly. So, besides resetting and screwing arpound to get anyting'smart' to swork, like streaming anything or getting the apps to work, you have to screw around with it to get it to use the internet that is working perfectly and plugged right into it. Fire TV: Never again.

this tv is suppose to be “smart” it has a mind of its own and doesn’t connect or stay connected , even if we got a wifi connector.

Purchased TV 2 days ago and will be returning it today. First day Tv powered off with no sleep timer set. Day two can’t detect WiFi. Contacted Toshiba customer service, instructed to reset TV and was able to connect to WiFi. Shortly after that Netflix would not work. Contacted Netflix and provided error code went through troubleshooting with no success advised to contact Toshiba for a factory reset on Tv. AGAIN contacted Toshiba did factory reset this time and was able to restore WiFi and Netflix. At 10pm last night Lost WiFi and Netflix AGAIN. Tv will be returned TODAY!!!!
