Failed before its time

It looked and sounded great, was easy to set up and use, and I was expecting many years of service. Wrong! Two years and nine months after purchase, the picture started flickering and then faded away like someone turned down the brightness. It never came back. It was used in the bedroom, so there was no major use. Very disappointed.
