The quality of the image looks great. yes it is not 4K resolution yet, but 1080p is enough for me. The price was not bad. Plus you get a chromecast built-in which is nice. I have a google home mini and I can play youtube videos with a voice command. If you have YouTube TV, you can also just tell google home mini to play a certain channel/show and it will play it. I also have a PS4 connected to it, and while not a heavy gamer, the quality of the image and sound is great for me.

I was very impressed with the picture quality. The integrated chromecast is a very useful feature. The TV has plenty of HDMI ports and it was very easy to mount.

I purchased this as an open box item for $250. For the price it has a good picture and great sound. This picture is slightly grainy during fast moving scenes but not horrible at all. Well work the money. Just be aware that this isn't a true smart tv. The "smart" tv part is ran by an google home app. It's still pretty nice though. Only other thing is it has a VERY basic remote. No numbers so you have to scroll through the channels on your tv. It doesn't bother me because I use my cable remote to control the tv. I would recommend buy a good HD hdmi cable for a better picture quality.

It's only been a few weeks but so far this TV has exceeded expectations. I needed to upgrade from a 42 " Plasma that I purchased in 2009 and was planning to get a simple 49" LED. I had been researching for quite a while and expected to spend around $300. Well the day I decided to "pull the trigger" my local BB was out of the model I had decided upon. When the salesperson saw my disappointment he mentioned this model and it was on sale for roughly the same price. I purchased it on the spot since I have owned Toshiba before and it was UHD. Highly recommend!

I got this product in the Black Friday deal for around $200 and I must say it is super value for money. Good reliable brand with decent feature, good display and good sound. It has it's limitations as this can claim to be a Smart TV only with the built in Chrome-cast feature. So if you are an Android user this is best compatible, also good enough with iPhone. I won't say this is the best TV you will find in the market but the best for the price. Worth putting in money.

Picked this TV up on a black Friday sale, was surprised they had one left. I wasn't expecting much, just wanted a bigger TV for the bedroom. So far, I have been very pleased. The picture has been very good, the sound is excellent, better than my 55" Samsung. The chrome cast is definitely not as easy or full functioning as a full smart TV but it did work, just done use it much. I don't have any 4K viewing yet either so haven't been able to really test that out but may try to pick up a 4K Blu ray when the prices come down. Overall, it has been worth the price

We purchased this television to fit a certain use. It was going to be an over the air tv with the options to hook up to a dvd and the Wii. This did it. The superbowl over the air broadcast was crisp, and it allows to Netflix and others if needed. The cast thing is ok, but, it needs to be a strong signal and close by. Not so much in my book. The remote would be nicer if it had the ability to plug in an actual number rather than channel up and down, then the back or previous would be usable. Extremely basic remote. Fit the shelf, fit the wallet.

I wasn't looking for 4K TV but this Toshiba "Deal of the Day" special was too good to pass on. I'm using it mostly as a computer monitor through HDMI connection where it is awesome for looking at high megapixel photos and 4K video. There are a couple of stuck pixels but I'm willing to overlook them for the price I paid. No numbers on the remote makes it best suited to monitor/cable box/Chromecast use since navigating TV channels is tedious.

Decide to give this a try, because the price. Toshiba is a good brand. The image quality bright and it looks good, even thought i had problem with the tv backlight. Sometimes the backlight bleeds thru and flashes, and mess up what you are watching, at least once a day. It could last between 1 - 4 seconds at random moments. I exchanged the TV for another unit, and after 3 days i haven't had any issues with the back lighting.. Im happy now.

This is a very good TV. I was concerned reading all the reviews about the set a Chromecast TV, but it was very easy to set it! And the price was very affordable :) Pros: Clear image, good sound, very easy to set Cons: 1) It takes a little more steps to turn it on because there is no way to go directly to the TV. You have to choice between 4 options to start watching TV. 2) You have to use 2 RC (one for on/off and volume, and the next one for cable channel) 3) Sometimes it shows a little fine line in the top of the screen.

I love this TV. It was my husband and mine's Valentine's gift to each other this year since we are both avid gamers. Graphics are great, sound is great, and the built in Google Cast is great! I wish we had bought a bigger size, but this was a killer deal when we bought it. Would recommend. Will note that you *have* to keep up with the remote, or else it is very difficult to use because of only the on/off button on the back, and that putting the legs on the tv was ridiculous. Other than that, it's an awesome tv!

This television has actually turned out to be pretty great. I lucked out and purchased it during a Black Friday sale for $200, and it was well worth it. The picture is great, the chromecast functionality is great, the only small complaint I have is about the audio. It's not the greatest, but I compensated with a Vizio soundbar. Maybe fiddling with the settings could have helped, but I was in the market for a soundbar anyway.

i bought a phillips 50 smart uhd.but then my son loved it so decided to buy this toshiba for me.this toshiba has a bright crisp screen with just right color.and the 60hz isnt even noticable.have a xbox 1 s hooked up and games are amazingly crisp and flow smoothly.the phillips had a motion adjustment to compensate for 60hz.toshiba doesnt, but not needed really.and the sound from tv speakers are surprisingly good.

I purchased the Toshiba 50" 4K UHD TV. From a video perspective, the picture quality is excellent. The TV's speakers are also very good, although I'm going to use my 7.1 surround sound system. The only drawback back that a buyer might have is that you have to use a smart phone to access non cable/dish related programming. I don't have any issues with it, however. Overall, I am giving this a 5 star rating. I also purchased the Best buy 5 year warrantee for just under $80. Very inexpensive in my opinion.

To start with it's an amazing 4K TV at very reasonable price. Pros: 1) 4K resolution 2) Inbuilt Chromecast 3) Got it for 199$ which is very very very good 4) Pretty stable and doesn't hang Cons: 1) Guys be aware that it's not a smart TV. Your mobile phone is mandatory to make use of chromecast 2) You need to get a 4K media player in order to enjoy 4K resolution. 4K resolution is supported only for the apps controlled by chromecast. There are not many options in the market currently. Roku 4 is an option. 3) Remote Control device can be improved.

Picture is awesome, and google cast is pretty cool, but not what I expected. I was thinking this TV would be "Smart" in that it would have it's own apps (ex. Netflix, Hulu, Crackle, etc.) instead of requiring a separate Google device to drive those things. It should all be built into the TV! The best thing about this TV was the price...hard to complain too much getting a 4k TV this size for under $300.
