Bought it on BF2016 at great Best Buy door-buster price! Really impressed with the picture quality, Colors and Sound of the TV. Using it with friends to play via Chromecast crossword puzzles! and other apps. MacBook as well as Windows laptop screens projection via Chromecast is working well. This works out well in my Kids new college apt to use without extra devices such as Apple TV or Roku etc. I had used Toshiba's laptop and used its TV for the first time. It is well made.

The tv is 100% beatiful. Playing video games, watching movies or even old shows look amazing.
1 flaw, if you dont have wifi you dont get to use all of its uses like using your phone as a remote. On that point, the remote doesnt have numbers and everytime you turn the tv on you have to toggle. Little screw up. I wacthed life of P.I. with amazement of how life like everything is. Love this TV.
I got it as a black friday deal at $200 but totaly worth the original price.

I got this in the store on Thanksgiving. I had no plan on getting a TV but this was selling for $199 so it was a steal not to pass up. The TV is much lighter weight and slimmer than I was expecting which is a bonus. It's my first time using the chromecast functionality which is simple to get setup on a cell phone and convenient. The picture isn't as clear or bright as I had hoped but I haven't tried adjusting the settings yet. Overall for the price, I couldn't be happier.

I think that it is a good TV for the price, had to adjust the settings a little bit to get the desired picture quality, but other than that it's user friendly, chrome cast was easy to set up. The TV pretty much walks you thru the set up, and the picture quality is pretty good. If you're looking for a TV for a good price with good quality this is a good choice. Only downside is that it doesn't seem to keep up with basketball games in HD/4K there is a little pixelation. But it is excellent for gaming.

I bought this TV on Black Friday for $199 . Hands down for a 49 inch TV that's 4K you cannot beat the price . With that being said it does the lack certain features while he claims to be a smart TV it's really not . It has a Google Chrome cast built-in so you have to have your phone or tablet handy to cast things to your TV. Which isn't the biggest deal however I would prefer not to have to use another electronic device to use smart TV applications on my TV . The picture is good however it is just a 4K it's not a 4K with HDR. Compared to the 52 inch sharp LCD 1080 P TV I currently have in the living room the difference is phenomenal . However side-by-side with a Samsung HDR 4K it would make this Toshiba look like a 1080 P. The one complaint I do have is on the bottom of the screen there is white light remitting while on a completely black screen due to cheap manufacturing. Overall it's a great TV for $200 but I wouldn't pay anything more than that for this TV. If I had to pay retail price for this TV I would spend a couple hundred more dollars and go with a Samsung.

I've had he TV for a couple months or so and the TV works really well and the picture quality is great. Price was outstanding. It is a "Smart TV" as it can connect to your phone and other devices for streaming but do not confuse it (like I did) as one with different applications and things you can use on it. Basic TV that looks great with Bluetooth streaming capabilities.

This TV was such a great buy. I spent $370 on it and its 4K, beautiful crisp picture. The whole family loves it and I will definitely go back and purchase a second one for the bedroom. Only downside was you can only use your phone Chromecast App on the tv. It does come with a slim remote for the basics of the tv but for everything else you need do control through your phone. But I'm not a techie and I figured it out really easily.

We bought this TV to replace a projector for our conference room. So, mostly we were looking for ease of use and connectivity, and the other amenities are a nice bonus. The screen is bright, and the controls are pretty easy to use. Having Chromecast built-in works well enough, but only with another device to drive it. All in all, a pretty good deal.

Light and portable the picture and sound quality is unparalleled by most UHD 4K TVs available. Easily connects to the cloud and has a ton of apps through which you can watch your favorite channels or movies recently released. The TV is very user friendly and the remote and progressive scan makes it fun to watch. It has an Android platform which can sync up with your Google Accounts. It comes with the Amazon Video App.

Purchased this TV only because of the price and the fact it is a 4K. What a great buy. Picture quality is great and the speakers are like you have a sound bar. Great volume almost too loud in certain instances. Only problem is that I thought that it would have apps on the screen like a smart TV so I have not learned how to use the google cast function yet. But pleased with the purchase. Wish I had purchased two.

This tv is pretty good for it's price point. I like that it has Chrome Cast built in, you just use your smartphone or laptop to use it. The only drawback is that when watching a particularly dark show, the backlight washes through around the corners. It's not too bad, but it's noticeable. But overall I am pleased with this tv.

I bought this to be used as a 4K monitor with a new desktop computer I built. I have not tested the Chromecast or television functionality at all and can't comment on those.
This TV can be driven up to 3840x2160 @ 24 fps on the HDMI inputs. It's a bit weird to use a monitor with a 24 fps limit due to strange mouse pointer behavior, however the ability to quarter-screen windows in Windows 10 makes this effectively four 1080p monitors in one solid panel, so I can forgive the odd pointer tracking.
Image quality is decent; it's not an IPS panel and it's a very cheap TV in the 4K category so you can't expect to be blown away by it. I did not see any strange color problems as I have seen on cheap monitors in the past.
Everything says to two-man lift this television but it's just barely the right size for me to handle by myself. It isn't as heavy as I expected. They're fragile, but they're not THAT fragile.
Overall, it's a good quality low-budget 4K monitor. It may or may not do TV well, but I'm going to hazard a guess that it does. If you use it as a monitor, some computers require that you set the TV's aspect ratio in the picture menu to "Native" or all of the edges will be cut off.

This TV is an excellent option, if you don't mind all of the smart features coming from your phone. Where most smart tv's have a built in set of apps, this device is totally dependent on your phone, laptop, or tablet to access any apps. Chromecast is a wonderful feature, but it doesn't replace an app feature in my book.
That aside, the TV looks great. The speakers are great, which is rare for a modern TV. The 4K is true, and the price is right.

So I copped this at Best Buy for $200 during Black Friday. For the price a 4K 49 inch compared to its competiton it's amazing. If you're paying more than $350 for it, don't buy it. You can probably find a bigger tv for a close price. The good thing about this tv is that the tv has chrome cast installed. It can be used right out of the box without a chrome cast or any extra devices. For the price, amazing.

Reading reviews beforehand was crucial. The update for the tv must be key as I have had no problems whatsoever. The only bad thing is the remote that doesn't have a number pad. Easily fixed with a universal remote. I can't believe the sound quality. It is like it has a built in sound bar. The pic quality is excellent.
