I want to leave a “for the price” comment by generally this tv is awesome. The operating system is smooth. And the 4K visual is impressive. I feel like a have a $700 unit. Obviously not all content broadcasts in 4K so I loaded 4K videos from YouTube to be sure and this thing rocks.

I'm not sure how or what to rate this tv yet, we purchased it for my daughter 2 days ago and unboxed it finally yesterday morning and connected to WIFI just fine. I got all excited because of the big screen with all the apps that she would be able to use etc, then we came onto please login to your amazon account. I order from amazon all the time, we've had a prime account for years, i have 3 firesticks loaded throughout the house, so for the fact that this tv has all the perks loaded into one seemed to be a great option. My downfall is it will not login to my account, I called customer service with amazon through my prime service on my phone and he told me that since it was a Toshiba Fire TV, he would not be able to troubleshoot or figure out why it would not logon....to me it seemed like an amazon problem bc it would load on my phone but not on the tv right? I ended up getting on the phone with Toshiba, he asked me when I bought the tv, my response being literally last night, and he says well you are still within the return warranty window you can take it back. Our team is aware of the problem and you aren't the only one who has called in that hasn't been able to login to access the tv options. With that being said, I wouldn't mind if she couldn't use the netflix, hulu, HBO, amazon, etc right now, I understand that things happen and software shuts down and has to be updated and fixed, but there's no way of getting around logging in to your account on this tv. I tried logging in through full version, which is already having an account and it telling me that my password or email was wrong, and basic version, which just kept going to an error screen and not letting me just connect to an HDMI to watch cable or even a dvd player. Seems like there would be a bypass option if there are technical difficulties with what the tv was purchased for, which was all the perks and apps, but just to be able to plug in and watch regular tv would be nice. We don't live near where we bought this tv, so for me to have to unmount it, box it back up, and take it back to the store isn't just as easy as it sounds. Not sure what to do still holding on to not being able to get past the login state....

I bought this TV two weeks ago for $300.00 at best buy. They had a deal with this TV It list for $400.00 at saving $100.00 dollars off. When you first setup this TV it will take a bit longer for you to download the updates using my version jet pack I was well over my 22 gigabytes. I timed it to be about 5 minutes to get the updates to download. Yes I am on a unlimited data plan with Verizon. The best part about this was that I was able to get my bluetooth LG headset to work with this TV and it will remember whenever you want to turn it off and on again. Best buy was very great for helping me with buying the best TV possible for my family Thanks Xtruckdriver35

This was a great TV, good sound quality, picture was not as sharp as I’d like it to be, had to do a lot of configuration to the settings to get it where I liked it most. I noticed the picture wasn’t as sharp as other 4K TVs so I was a little disappointed, fast forward a month and all video goes out. Sound and all other functionality is there except for any picture whatsoever. Hopefully the next one they give me will be fine. I do love all the apps you can get, I don’t even use my cable box anymore.

Three years and it’s been a great purchase. External speakers not necessary, but preferred.

Great sound, picture quality, has 3 hdmi ports which is essential to a gamer like me, and best off all the low low price of $330, an absolute steal. Get it

Great TV! I love fire tvs. We got a sound bar for the TV abd it’s amazing.

Still going strong six years later. It’s a little sluggish sometimes but I just reset it and it’s good.

I am satisfied with the product. Fire TV rocks. Good sound and picture quality. Definitely has good cost benefit ratio.

this 4K TV HAS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL PICTURE AND VIVID COLORS WE HAVE EVER HAD ON A TV. SO GLAD WE MADE THIS PURCHASE.

I was very impressed with Fire TV software. There is a bit of a learning curve to use this over a traditional tv, but it is very nice once you figure it out. Picture - the picture is ok. There are better performing low cost tv's available, but this picture is acceptable. Audio - Really bad sync issues that come and go. All apps and inputs seem to be affected. I've yet to find a good resolution. Sometimes restarting the tv works. Adjusting audio delay settings helps a little, but never solves the issue completely. I'm hoping there is an OS update that will fix this in the near future. Overall: Fire Tv is impressive certainly at the price point offered on Prime Day, but at regular I think there are options with better performing panels that don't have audio issues. If the audio issue went away I would say this is a solid 4 star tv.

Purchased a year ago after my LG was struck by lightning... has been a great tv now all of a sudden I have to unplug it and plug it back in to watch television!!! Not sure what the issue is but that makes me say ok this is my last Toshiba!

Does anyone know how to get the 4:3 stretch function to work? I'm an old movie buff. When you hit the 4:3 aspect and hit wide one, wide two etc. to fill the screen it only goes up and down and not sideways to fill the screen.

There is no way to change channels without jumping through hoops. No channel up/down on the remote. These are basic features! C'mon! Cannot change aspect ratio on screen. If I have a standard def channel in 16:9, I can't stretch it to fill the screen. Very annoying. 1 star because the sound quality was good. Other than that, a total bust for a casual user. DO NOT give this TV to anyone over 40.

I bought the TV today. I like it so much. With voice assistant, I found YouTube app easily. I’ve watched live channels or videos through YouTube.

I am incredibly pleased I purchased this TV. The setup was easy and the unit performs well. If anything changes, I will rewrite this review.

It was great, though it stopped working with in 3 years. We got credit back.

Wow was i ever disappointed when I mounted this to my wall. I had high hopes as I have two Toshiba 32" 1080's with great pictures 10 years later. This TV's picture is about maybe a little better than those MAYBE. The speakers are horrible. I did love the Fire Tv part of the tv as it has so many apps to choose from and ways to keep entertained. I did sample two of these tv and both of them had the same issue of turning on in the middle of the night. I had led's hooked up and a soundbar and when the tv itself did not turn on these devices did. The gaming was ok I gotta say. I would stay away from this model if possible and save up a lil more money for a better tv.
