Decent TV . Im giving it three stars becsuse it takes forever to turn on and run . Also the remote control drains the batteries when not in use. I have to remove the batteries from the remore control and put them back in constantly to save the battery.

i bought mine july 18, 2024. i wanted the exact same tv from toshiba i had before but this was their lowest price tv for the size at this time. my previous toshiba last about 7 yrs and never had a problem. this one started having problems after 3 months. started having a line in the middle of the screen- blurry etc. since i got mine for $229 i did not want to spend more on warranty. so i was told to call the toshiba main line- hard to understand people. i went through all the steps including factor re set- nothing helped. then i was told to take all pictures of problems on tv, picture of online receipt etc and dont know how to do. WHY DOES BEST BUY MAKE IT SO HARD TO JUST HAVE SOMEONE COME OUT AND LOOK AT IT? I HAD GEEK FOR YEARS FOR MY COMPUTER AND READ BAD REVIEWS THAT THEY WOULD MAKE THINGS WORSE-DONT HAVE GOOD TECHS- it could be something so simple. i tried getting another cord that connects the wall outlet to tv and it seems to be a problem EITHER WITH THE CORD ITSELF or the the area it connects into on the back of the TV. for some reason it cannot maintain quality- even the tiniest movment on the cord will produce all the lines and blur. VERY UNHAPPY. have to unplug and plug from the tv outlet on the back and hope it works-put duct tape to hold cord in place. i even bought a new one thinking the one that came with tv had become compromised somehow. i never know day to day hour to hour if it will give me a good picture without those lines. they should make it much easier to get help when without me having email them all these photos to get someone to look at it.

I got this TV on May 2023. Everything is working fine but sometimes it is slow. Sound is just average Don’t expect

Purchased this tv as an open box. It’ll be my first and last open box purchase. The tv was not functional. After 8 hours on the phone with support I made the 50 mile drive back to Bestbuy to swap the tv and the manager on duty was an jerk. First he commented “well, it is a Toshiba” inferring that Toshibas were just bad TVs. This was our 3rd Toshiba for the house. The other have been great. No issues for several years. I asked if he could discount the new one to the open box price since it did not work and i specifically asked if the tv worked before I picked it up. He refused to budge even though their lie to me cost me about $25 extra in fuel as well as 10 hrs of my time. He was a younger guy that didn’t care that my purchase from their store had caused me extra grief. I will not make any further purchases from Best Buy. They won’t be in business long with managers like this.
