Good enough for your wife

My wife doesn't care if the blacks are true deep black and the color is accurate she just wants to watch tv. This tv however after owning a Sony and a Samsung is sub par at best almost in the same category as a JVC or RCA. Reds aren't true reds and the contrast ratio is poor so blacks aren't that true sharp black. At times the screen becomes blotchy looking as it is trying to adjust. With only one antenna in coax you can't put a splitter switch on it as the tv only picks up one or the other unless I am missing how to add channels. I saved $10 over getting a Samsung which had an additional coax I guess the jokes on me. Decent for apps but cant load a bunch on it cause it holds as much as a regular firestick would normally hold. Has an optical output for sound and a 3.5mm out as well for sound but no RCA jacks. At $271 all in for a 50" you get what you pay for.

But purchased from Best Buy open box online, which did not state was missing the remote, power cord and stand. This TV will not work with a firetick or the firestick remote. Buyer beware of open box purchases. Having big problems replacing remote that is out of stock
