My sons remote went out can’t do anything they sent me a replacement that wasn’t the same and I can’t get it working now I’m lost had tv for 8 months useless smh.

I have to constantly unplug the HMDI cable and plug it back in to make the TV work. At first I thought it was the cable box, but I changed that and it did not help. Yesterday I got a new HMDI cable thinking that might be bad. It did not help and I still have to unplug and plug back in.

Will not purchase again

Sadly after not even two years the wifi drops too often to actually enjoy a show without several interruptions. This is not a wifi provider issue. It is a Toshiba fire tv issue.

Garbage

It searched and downloaded new software 5 times before it finally decided to start up. I thought ummm ok I guess lots of new updates? After 15 mins or so it finally started up. The picture was horrible. The colors were dull in every picture mode regardless of adjusting the brightness, contrast, etc. I hooked up my PS4 pro and watched Toy Story 4 in UHD to see if the results would be better. Nope, the picture was still terrible. Bad bad bad. Don't waste your money and time on this thing.

Not that great for smart

After watching Hulu or Disney one tome the next time I try to get on the app it doesn’t work. I have to go clear the cache and close out the app every time. Kinda annoying for a $300 smart tv

Overheats & Burns Out

The screen radiated heat. The set turned off in the middle of programs and couldn't be restarted without contacting cable carrier. We all thought it was bad cable boxes. Finally a cable tech came to our home and after much testing said the TV was showing high electrical charge to the cable box. Soon afterwards the TV stopped working completely. It happened to a family member's same set purchased at the same time. We bought a warranty. Hope it's good.
