I cant believe how bad this experience was. I purchased this Toshiba tv 26 months ago and 2 months ago it DIED. A 2 year old tv Died! No i didnt have an expensive extended warranty. My last Toshiba lasted me over 20 years. Why would I need an expensive extended warranty? I am very disappointed. I have been a best buy customer for lots of years and now i feel cheated. I am retired and live on a fixed income so almost 400 dollars is not easy for me. Dont buy this tv unless you have 400 dollars to waste. I gave it all 1 star because i couldnt check ZEROS.

slow TV. really slow smart software. Laggy TV. Developers need to make it faster.

Garbage. I made a snap decision before reading reviews. The TV was DOA. I returned I the next morning. The set ups would get stuck on the 2nd step "pairing your remote." Futile attempts by tech support failed to make the TV work. If you google "Toshiba won't pair remote" there are like 37,000,000 pages of results. How they let garbage like this hit the retail shelves I'll never know.

I'm a huge firestick guy so I thought I'd try this TV to get the built in feature. When I toggle from Fire TV to Cable via HDMI it CONSTANTLY locks up forcing me to have to unplug the TV from the wall to reset it. THIS IS VERY ANNOYING!! Also I download movies and TV programs onto my USB drives for later viewing. I have 5 other TVs in my house and this is the ONLY TV that plays them on a hit or miss bases (mostly miss) where as my other 5 TVs plays them without a hitch! This TV is really starting to become an issue. I've purchased the extended warranty and I'm going to reach out for a solution. As of now, I'm REALLY disappointed in the performance of this TV and DEFINITELY would not recommend purchasing one.

Bought it for my son's dorm. It eant on sale the next week for 85.00 less. They did match the price!!

I've had this TV barely over a month. I wish I used every day, so i could get a return on it. But thats life. I love the Fire part of it, awesome. Sound and picture... Not so much. Anything I watch, I have to adjust the picture quality and sound quality. Not what I was looking for. Hopefully the extended warranty will take it back, and let upgrade!

I returned it it says it’s a 50 inch but it not 50 inches smaller when you take it out of the box

I don't know if it's my internet or the this TV, but it keeps losing connections all the time. I have to keep entering my wifi password almost every time. And when it has been off for more than hour, my echo dot can't turn it on, says "can't make a connection, check network"

Prefer smart cast for multiple streaming apps, does have casting ability from smart phones

Haven't brought home from store yet. Waiting for a room to be completed

I purchased this TV after reading several fairly good reviews. I am not sure if there was a defect with the backlighting or if that is just the nature of the Toshiba brand but as soon as I turned it on I knew it wasn’t for me, it was grainy and just awful resolution. I returned it and got the TCL- 2 different worlds!!

Tv was good for the 1st year but now there is nothing but issues. Turn off on its own, freeze acreen blue and remote has to be reprogramed constantly. Worst purchase ever.

When watching certain apps the TV will exit the app. Other than that it's ok.

I'll never buy a opened box item ever again too many times things are missing ???

Color and contrast not great, but ok for the price. Decent sound.

Do yourself a favor and AVOID this TV. Day 1 getting this TV it has had technical issues that continue to happen to this day. First, many of the usual apps that we use did not work on this TV. It took going back and forth with tech support to get them working. We use PLEX to store our movies and we could not access that app until about a month ago when it finally started working out of the blue. The apps sometimes disappear or don't work. The volume goes out often. When we are watching it suddenly restarts. It shows I have notifications and I go check there is none. We've own a few smart TVs and this by far has been the worst! Oh and our cable remote will not work with the TV. Tried programing it several times to no avail.

Tv sound keeps going out and we’ve only had it for about a month.
