Worse tv I’ve owned. Just not good picture quality

Two and a half months in use and the sound went out.

Love the TV! Great sound controls for a small TV, anyway, it has base, treble balance controls and other sound advance settings. Few years ago I had a great 27" Toshiba tube TV that finally went out after about 30 years of use. I will choose Toshiba over Samsung any day of the week and twice on Sunday. My father, brother and uncle all got a new Samsung TV around the same time and all three went out within one year. WOW! If any store worker ask me if I want a Samsung TV I will run away faster than a duck flying south for the winter.

This TV is GREAT! The colors pop, the sound is crisp, the remote response is immediate, all app’s available at your fingertips has been wonderful! The ONLY negative is NOT ENOUGH internal space to accommodate all the apps we want.

Love this tv I’ve had it for 3 years and it’s durable, easy to use and perfect size for my living room

So over the past number of years Best Buy has been buying licensing rights to more popular & recognizable brands so as to have more of their own brands beyond their infamous Insignia line of TV's. Look at the back of any Toshiba TV within the last 2 years. See how they all got a Best Buy sticker on them with Best Buy's info & policy's? Yeah, that's the direct result of Best Buy having paid Toshiba to be able to use their name and put it on one of their TV's. This isn't to mean it's a remotely bad TV, in fact most Toshiba TV's licensed under Best Buy & sporting Best Buy's sticker on the back are great! Brilliant even! The point isn't the quality though, that much really hasn't changed from since before this licensing ordeal began, the point is that because Best Buy is manufacturing these TV's and paying companies such as Toshiba to be able to put their name on it that it's not really a Toshiba TV. It's an awesome TV and a great value, but just something not everyone knows and should at least be seen once or twice on Best Buy's sites since their now the main & primary distributor of Toshiba TV's.

I loved this t.v until it went out on me. It wouldn't turn on after a year of owning it. That's why I got the extra warranty for it. I was able to replace it at no cost to me.

Nice tv. No major issues since purchased 2 years ago in 2022. Periodically needs to be completely rebooted/powered down to restart but not frequently. The apps are decent and frequently gives notifications for new updates. Picture quality is pretty good. I recommend this brand and model.

Bought four years ago this month (Dec. 2020) and it died today (Dec. 2024). Great picture. Recommend buying a sound bar for TV. Volume isn’t bad just needed a little boost.

Solid budget TV for the price. The TV can often lag and run slow and the built-in storage is a little low so you won't be able to download alot of apps without using a USB

No issue with this TV, the picture clear, sound great, colors are awesome. Great price.

It’s a really great tv like everything it has its pros and cons just gotta take care or it give a break at times especially if you like to sleep with the tv on but overall it’s great - Queenie

The Toshiba 50” smart tv is a great tv. Quality picture and sound.

It’s crisp and fast. None of the lag we have experienced with fire sticks. Transitions between inputs quickly as well

I purchased this TV 4-1/2 years ago. It has worked perfectly until today. I turned it on and there was no picture, but the sound was fine as usual. I did all the things - unplug and wait 60 seconds, push the factory reset button, etc..nothing works! It lasted 4-1/2 years so I guess that’s okay, considering today’s extremely low manufacturing standards. I’d purchase again but only if it’s on sale or at a very good price.
