After enjoying this TV for 11 Days, the screen went white after watching for less than an hour. When it was working the picture was awesome compared to my $1,100 7.5 year old Sony Bravia that gave up the ghost 2 weeks ago. I took the Toshiba back to Best Buy without any issue and great customer service. I ended up trading up to the Sony X80 50” at twice the cost of the Toshiba. I really wanted to love the Toshiba, however it was not to be. Mine was wall mounted in the master bedroom. I had Toshiba products in the past, I still have a Toshiba DVD and VHS combo for years that haven’t given me any issues. Sadly I’ll have to shy away from Toshiba products for the time being. Pros: picture & sound were awesome. Price was very reasonable with good bang for the buck. Excellent customer service at Best Buy. Cons: It died after 11 days of light use. Remote control sadly was about the worse in recent memory. It’s too small, slippery when placed while reaching for it on my headboard shelf, it didn’t feel right in my average size hand. Perhaps mine was a lemon.

Very good picture quality and awesome sound. Had problems with setup and the technical support was very knowledgeable and courteous.

good value tv for gaming and entertainment purposes. the wide array of connection options gives us the ability to connect any device to really enjoy the experience.

I have two of these Fire TVs and the picture is fantastic. THE REMOTE IS HORRIBLE. Within weeks of purchasing BOTH TVs, the remote stopped working. It's routine to have to unplug the TV, let it rest, remove batteries from remote, push every button on the remote and MAYBE the remote will reset and be acknowledged by the TV. I'll be trying Samsung next time.

DONT buy this tv its not even the tv itself its fire edition, it has a major software issue that will stop you half the time from even being able to turn the tv on then once you actually succeed you will run into signing on issues to even be able to access the settings. And worst part geek squad warranty CANNOT help you because its a software issue that they will tell you call amazon about its not a mechanical defect. I figured no problem Ill just hook up a firestick and wont actually use the software..WRONG..tv will say no internet even when im on the LAN and then will say cant connect to Amazon account, this Tv shouldnt be for sale, I lost all hope after a year and trashed the tv my sanity is worth more.

I thought I was doing well by buying a HiSense 50" tv at a decent price..........I was dead WRONG! The first purchase, the sound and video cut out. I returned it, for an exchange (same model). That second one, picture was great, but the audio would cut out for 10-15 seconds. So I returned that. Then the Best Buy people made a suggestion for me to get a Toshiba 50" TV.........GREAT product!! No issues with audio or video! Would highly recommend this tv!

While we loved the vivid colors, the user-friendly options, and the clarity of the screen. What we don't love is that the backlights just suddenly went out on this tv, and we only had it for a little over 2 years. We bought the Toshiba hoping it would have a little longer life. I know they are cheap enough to replace you just don't go into it thinking ah in 2 years I will be dumping it anyways.

This TV was a replacement TV due to my prior TV blew out , I had to do this replacement via phone, manager Elias was wonderful, as was the supervisor I spoke with due to the delivery service was so so, however, I received the TV as supervisor Brian I believe his name was. I had a warranty on the prior TV and am trying to get a warranty on the new TV but cannot get anyone on the phone.

The Toshiba fire tv is a great value and has many capabilities with quality picture clarity

Picture looks great, but interface is not that great. If you use the HDMI input from a TV provider, the TV won’t just open to that input and let you start watching; you have to switch sources every time you turn on the TV - pain!

Since purchasing i thought this TV was great, but now having for about 2 years, the interface hasnt updated when all the other firesticks in my house has, the remote search feature stopped working, now the replacement i got isnt working right, it updates like every 5 min....it freezes and has very low storage. The 4k capability is very bad also, i have a Sony 4k blueray player and it cant even show the power of it because the TV cant get bright enough. So hate i purchased this thing.

I purchased this TV on Feb 19 2020 and within two months I had to get the Wifi board changed and also purchase a new TV remote. This isn't the worst part. The Customer Service provided by Toshiba through Geek Squad is absolutely the worst. Agents not showing up on scheduled appointments, after making multiple calls to the helpline there was no resolve to the situation. I understand that the product might have some problems but if you pay that extra for a protection plan and then experience such a horrible service its just frustrating. I would not recommend getting these extra protection plans as they are absolutely a waste especially when you require them. Do yourself a favor and purchase some other brand and don't waste a penny on this Brand and the protection plans.

Great TV, great picture. Don't get it with Fire software. It is just. Can't use your TV without putting in a credit card number. Cant link your Amazon prime video without paying for another account. All aren't as good as RUKU. Will return within my 15 day return period.

Backlight went out after only 3+ years of limited use. No more Toshibas for me.

I was excited that this is a Fire TV. I thought I could download extra channels without having to use my Roku. I had 10 apps and the internal memory is full. The TV has a lag so to switch from app to app or channel to channel it is slow. I have had to unplug the TV several times to reset it. I thought I did my research but I guess it was not good enough. I am disappointed. I bought my son the 43inch TV and I had to return in within three days as the picture went out. I got him an Insignia and I wish I would have gotten the same TV.

The apps are outdated out of the box. Upon calling Toshiba, their support states that they have no plans on updating any of the support software and their advice (FOR A BRAND NEW TV). is to buy an external dongle. Do not waste your time, it's a bargain for a reason, Toshiba has no regard for its customers.

Good selections got in and out right away and excellent sales person

Poor rating due to shipping. Was to arrive on 4/2/21, rescheduled to 4/3/21 and then two days in a row received messages TV was out for delivery by 8 pm and now again was rescheduled for Monday. I should have picked this up from the store, what a huge inconvenience. Sure would have been nice to have this TV for Easter!
