Purchased a 4k uhd toshiba 50 inch. Lightweight, came with amazon apps. Easy to change settings to my liking.

I had to replace my Samsung TV because the picture was ruined on it. I bought the Toshiba to replace it. The Samsung was only 3 yrs old. I understand this is a common problem with Samsung. It would have cost more to fix it than to buy a new one. I dont like the remote control for the Toshiba. I have to use it along with the remote for the cable. The picture on the Toshiba is good but not great and I think I will get a sound bar for it.

We bought this TV for our loft, we needed a smart TV and this one was perfect. The picture is clear and bright. It was easy to set up, and user friendly.

Easy to set up, no problems connecting to the internet or amazon. Great picture but I would recommend a sound bar to enhance the volume. Great price for a “smart tv”.

This is a smart tv! It has an excellent picture, features plus the built in Fire TV makes this an outstanding value! Highly Recommended!

for $300, this is tremendous value. But there are some nuances built into it that I don't like. 1. the "basis" is Amazon Fire and all the apps, and you have to jump out to get to cable or antenna (I have antenna). So when you turn it on, it jumps to the Amazon Fire home page, which I don't like. I want the TV to come on first. 2.a. There is no standard remote, it's the Amazon Fire remote. Which means there's no numeric keypad like on a standard remote, so you can't type in the channel you want to go to, you have to hit guide and then scroll 1 by 1 to find your channel. 2.b. Within the TV guide, there is no "Page-up" or "Page-Down", So because of not being able to numerically enter the TV station #, and not being able to do "Page Up/Down", I have to hit the down arrow like 28 times to go from Channel 2-1 to Channel 45-1 (Baltimore). 2.c. Because of not having the standard remote, everything is done by the fire stick remote, which is limited. So when you scroll to different TV channels (1 at a time), you use the circle thing on the remote, not the up-down arrow. So that's goofy too. 3. The "Info" button doesn't provide full details of the show (for a TV show via antenna). Like when watching M*A*S*H, the Toshiba just shows the title of the show, whereas my 10-year old Vizio shows full details: the title, plus a description of the show. 4. Although the TV is 4K UHD, it doesn't seem vibrant or HD. The picture is great, colorful, but I was expecting "Wow - look at that definition, it's like you're right there!". But it's now "Wow". So this was less than expected. Overall it's an unbelievable value for $300, but I don't recommend it. Mainly I don't like the focus on the Amazon Fire, which leads to all the other items I noted.

I love my new 50 inch Toshiba TV. My old 46 inch finally broke down. Went to the store to compare TV’s. The picture was so clear and at the right price!

The quality of the picture is excellent. Setup was easy and adding my accounts to the app menu was also very easy. Gaming image quality is also excellent.

I helped order this tv for my uncle who is almost 80 and loves watching older movies on dvd and bluray. He LOVES this television!!! The picture and sound quality are amazing. He called me specifically to say that he thought "the tv was smarter than he was"! Translation: When setting up the tv, the screen actually told him what he needed to do and directed him on how to be set up. Lol! He is very very happy with this tv and just how crystal clear the picture is. You can't top the price either. He is one happy man right now.
