Love this TV, the picture is crystal clear! The Fire TV is a nice feature. Makes it very convenient for streaming and binge watching. It is very easy to add the apps - and Alexa is always there to assist if needed! The price made the decision very easy as well. Very happy with it - highly recommend.

Exceptional TV for the price. I’ve had 2 Toshiba TVs for over 7 years and they have a good picture, are easy to function, have all the audio/video hookups for stereo, cable, internet, Bluetooth, etc., and they are very light. They aren’t the top of the line feature-wise but if your looking for a real good TV for a low price, then this TV will meet and exceed your expectations.

Beautiful picture, color is amazing! We bought this tv online open box excellent condition. Curbside pickup. It came no box wrapped in bubble wrap. Not a problem its a return but, the back of the tv was loaded with dust and dirt which could have been wiped off. Since it was curbside we wernt awsre that the romote and stand were missing. The remote control is the heart of the TV. You can not operate this tv without it. So after 5 agents and 6days the parts finally arrived and the tv is great. I wudda exchanged it but its outta stock. The 5 stars is for the tv and 1 star for customer service.

Excellent TV with a high quality image and very efficient. Its software is updated from time to time which makes the TV feel like new at all times. In addition, for its incredible price, it includes premium functions such as Bluetooth, and a 4k ultra HD LED screen. In addition to that, it is compatible with Alexa. You can control your TV with an Alexa speaker, without having to use the TV remote. And finally, it has Dolby Atmos sound which will give you an unmatched sound experience.

I have a 2020 Samsung 65" TV and this Toshiba 50". This is my second purchase of these brands, older models. If I could do it over, I would only by Toshiba. They spend lots of time making their devices easy to operate. I have been using the Samsung TV for 3 months and I constantly look at the many buttons on the remote to perform simple functions. I have only been using the Toshiba for a week , and I can do almost everything blind. Also the sound on the Toshiba is fantastic. The surround effect echoes around the bedroom walls and is very realistic. It also has plenty of volume, something very lacking in the Samsung. I have to run it at 100, only turning down once in a while. Buy TOSHIBA

i absolutely love this tv so far. have had it for only a couple weeks but the picture is great, sound is good, it runs fast and was easy to set up. the voice remote is a great perk! i had to order a silicone cover for the remote off amazon(it fits into cases for amazon fire tv remotes) because its so smooth/soft that its slippery, but thats a small price to pay. as long as nothing stops working, i am extremely pleased with my purchase. I havent even started my free trial of apple tv that it comes with from best buy, yet!

I’m a TV snob. We usually spend $4-5k on our living room TV’s. I do tons of research and make Magnolia put TV’s side-by-side with the same input and blah blah blah. We needed a new bedroom TV and as I get more practical in my autumn years I decided I didn’t need to go crazy on the TV I fall asleep to. Obviously for the price you can’t beat it. As someone who owns 4-5 Firetv devices and was a first adopter: Go with the Toshiba over the cheaper FireTV. The Toshiba menu and commands are much faster. It is worth the extra few dollars. My son has the “other” brand FireTV in his room. It dies constantly, the Wi-Fi died on it about 6 months in (it’s now hooked into a bridge), I recently had to unplug/plug it back in when it wouldn’t turn on, and the load screens are brutal. I have another one in my gym and it made it through a football season but once again, the menus are brutally slow. The remote is standard. It works, the fact that it’s not line of sight is nice but the lack of customizable buttons over the new Roku remote (which does) is painful. If you’ve seen the new FireTV menus (now with built in ads for random stuff!) you’re probably like me and considering giving Roku a try anyway. Ultimately it’s a good TV. The menus are faster (but not as fast as the FireTV cube). The volume and speakers are fine. Color, definition, picture are just fine for a bedroom but probably won’t wow you if you’re coming from any other 4K TV. Great for: bedrooms, kids rooms, gyms, or guest rooms.

Terrific TV. Bought it for my parents who had an old 30" that was fading. My dad can now watch his favorite sports games at 50" and he loves it! Easy setup. The ONLY downside for which I looked up a solution - is that Toshiba has decided that the default should be the tons of station options rather than your TV channels. If you like that, great. I know we wanted it to go to the TV channels when turning the TV on. We found a YouTube (just search for "Toshiba set default channel on Spectrum" (or DirecTV or whatever). It walks you through how to go into Sound and Audio or something no one would ever think would have the setting. Check off, Start on Last Channel (or something like that) and it was done. Thank goodness for the internet!! Other than that - terrific quality, easy to navigate (other than the above setting), and easy to put together. I had an electric Phillips screwdriver, so it went even faster! I bought it over President's weekend, so the price was unbeatable. It was delivered in a few days, which was even better.

I have had the TV for a few weeks now and it has met my expectations. I was looking for a larger TV and this was a significant upgrade from my old set. I give this a 5-star rating on comparison to other sets of this class. I did a bit of comparison shopping beforehand and there is definitely a cutoff between the high-end (and price) brands and those that can into this category. Packaging was sufficient and all items were in the box and undamaged The provided setup instructions were easy to follow with the usual quick guide All I need is a screwdriver to attach the feet, then plug the power cord into the back of the set as well as connecting coax for the antenna. Wifi setup and connectivity was easy and quick entering SSID and Password. I debated on having the connection all the time but having the program guide available is very handy. The set will also prompt you to connect your streaming services for quick access. I use digital broadcast as there are no cable providers nearby. I also have Prime Video and signed up for a couple of free, online TV sources that were offered on the TV when I set up. The remote is simple to use and intuitive. I've only used the voice control a couple of times but it be worked pretty well when trying to find a specific video online. Powering on each time the TV brings you to the home screen and displays the last watched channels and programs and also offers up streaming service options. If your internet connection is not found the set will prompt you to connect it dismiss the pop-up. (FYI- As a point of reference, streaming a one hour episode of a program consumed about 6GB of mobile data) Otherwise, I also connected my Blu-ray player through the HDMI. Sound quality is acceptable and volume levels are good enough to be across a large room or have a number of people chatting and still hear the dialogue well. So far so good. Biggest question will be the durability and life expectancy of the set.

Blown away by the quality of this TV. Beautiful picture, sound is amazingly full and loud with adjustable settings and not as heavy to put on wall as expected. This replaced a TV I had in my bedroom for 7 years. I was satisfied with the picture of that TV. The picture on this TV is truly a whole lot better. I also like how I can turn it on/off and control functions with my my voice via Alexa devises in the home or using the included stick. I do need to have it connected via WIFI for anything other than the stick to control. At first I connected thru ethernet then had a 'Duh!' moment when my Alexa devices wouldn't operate the TV. Very happy with purchase and easily recommend this TV to others. I bought the 50" version. One thing I was surprised about was the lack of detailed info on the wealth of adjustments and settings that can be made. But it wasn't hard to spend a few minutes going through them all and determining what's what.

This Fire TV has been great. There were no real adjustments that were needed to have a great picture. We had purchased a 50" Samsung prior and returned it due to an issue with trying to brighten the picture. No issues with the Toshiba in this way. Connectivity to wifi hasn't been an issue and using the various apps and connecting accounts has been relatively easy as well. Excellent purchase.

My husband, and I decided to grab this television, Open-box, from our local Hurts Best Buy for our children’s game-room. Our older LG TV was a really slow 1080p ‘Smart TV’. While it was able to handle Netflix streaming, a lot of the apps were outdated and no longer supported. Napster, and some other apps I never heard of, but tried to open up and run... didn’t happen. We got this 4K upgrade and let me say; the picture quality, fast and snappy OS/UI are absolutely amazing. The outdated tv we owned was showing it’s age. Blacks aren’t black, they’re super washed out grey. No App Store. No manufacturer support for QoL fixes. This television is absolutely wonderful - no lag, no skips, or buffering while watching a movie. The picture quality is pretty good. It’s a mid-range unit, we weren’t expecting ‘OLED’ level quality, but let me say; this unit provides solid output. Every Netflix, Disney+, and Hulu movie/show looks amazing. Definitely happy with this purchase.

I had a smaller version of the same TV (32"), and when I bought a new TV stand that sat lower to the ground, the 32" just looked a bit sad. So, I upgraded to a 50". The fact that it's the same brand means I don't have to relearn how to use everything, the size is perfect, the picture is clear, and it was easy to set up. No problems so far! I'm not a tech person, so ease of use is important to me. I think Toshiba may be a little bit under-rated!
