This is a just a beautiful TV. Setup could not have been easier. Picture is great and the color and clarity are everything I had hoped for. I caught a great sale at Bestbuy too!! The feet are pretty far apart so measure your intended table/stand before you buy this

Needed an affordable Smart TV and saw this Toshiba 50 inches 4K TV on sale for $350. The TV features are well balanced and basically it has everything for an average user. Pros; 3 HDMIs ports, optical digital audio, tv tuner, USB port, Wi Fi and ethernet port, bluetooth, mic for Alexa on remote control, composite A/V, Fire TV streaming apps, great picture in good light scenarios or vivid colors. Cons; Remote control seems cheap, some apps seems to lag, too much tint in picture, blacks or shadow images doesn't stand out from rest of picture, somtimes looks too dark. If this cons doesn't bother you, then definitely it's a TV to consider.

Finally decided to upgrade my 42' 2008 Toshiba Regza TV and move to this 50in 4K UDH Smart Fire TV. So far the experience has been great! The Regza did me solid for many years, but I'm loving the 4K picture and Smart TV functions (Pandora on my TV, YouTube on my TV and other apps available. Once in a while it takes a minute to read the Cable input (and sometimes it takes a little bit for the 4K to get clear after turning it on but I suspect it's a cable issue as I don't experience this with Fire and other Smart TV apps). Sound is decent - not movie theater quality but it's good enough for my uses. The installer was great from the GeekSquad and went over all the functions with me. Very satisfied thus far and hopeful this Toshiba will last and be as great as my prior model.

Love this tv. It's a great addition to our bedroom. Nice picture & easy to operate. I love the Fire tv already being built into it. The only downside that I have found is that I wish it had a longer cord.

excellent television, clear, solid vibrant colors. great value. setup was not excessively complicated for my setup and worked fine out of the box. two people recommended to unbox and setup--I recommend highly.

I bought this less than a week ago and it's 100% worth it. I was on the verge of buying a Samsung for slightly more but this clearly has more going for it.

The original t.v. that I ordered arrived broken, as did the replacement. I took the replacement to the local store to obtain a different brand, the Samsung, which seems to be much better built, and they gave me a discount based on my inconvenience with the broken t.v.s. The Samsung has a great picture, but the remote has too few buttons, and the menu is such that one has to go through many button presses to switch between the streaming options and an actual input such as dish receiver or blu ray player. Other than that, it's a great t.v. for the money.

The Television it’s self is excellent, clear picture, and it has fire TV included, so there’s no need to purchase a fire stick. It was easy to set up and very light to pick up independently. Which brings me to my three star rating, this television was advertised as 50 inch, however this is in accurate. Because it looked smaller I measured it, and discovered it’s actually 43 inches, NOT 50 ! SMH !!!! I plan to contact the manufacture with this concern and try to get what I actually paid for , a 50 inch TV…

The Toshiba 50 4K TV has a beautiful picture and was very easy to set up. Color, sharpness, detail are all excellent. This is far more TV than I expected for the price. Beautiful!!!

For the money, the Toshiba 50" Class UHD Smart TV is a great value. Having bought a Samsung TV in the past only to be told by Samsung the so-called Smart TV is no longer supported by Samsung APP updates even though it was only 3-years old pretty much made my Smart TV stupid. So, I bought this Toshiba instead and have been very pleased with the clarity, ease of setup, included features and even the sound quality is good. I stream all of my content through Amazon, Apple and Netflix and this TV does it all without any problem. I'll never by an overpriced Samsung again.

Works fine for a while, but then the storage internal to the TV gets filled up with the apps/stations you download on prim, amazons auto storage of photos, movies and games you bought, and the system gets flakey--won't stream properly, gets the spinning feed signal. In theory, you should be able to expand storage with a usb data stick.. .although finding this out isn't easy. You call bestbuy they say call the manufacturer, you call Toshiba they say call Amazon because that is Fire TV problem, you call Fire TV support and they say it is the manufacturer problem. You can go to YOUTUBE and find a way to extend the data and then call back the Fire TV support and some tech dreeb will tell you off the record what to do, but can't promise it will work. So YES you can put in a data stick, and you can manually download the stations to that stick and manually and time consumingly delete all the non-core stations off of your internal storage so that the main amazon apps and netflix and hbo and paramount and hulu and pandora and whatever work and forget about installing fun ap or a channel to try out like the history channel or chillers... ane watch it on another tv. Works well with a sound bar. Limited capability for adjusting brightness, but can be done. Other than that it is great value for the price we paid, hence the 3 stars....

I was really impressed with this TV. I was watching this model for a while due to the Dolby Plus and for the price. I've purchased Toshiba TVs int he past and they have been exceptional. This dropped to $300 and I had to pull the trigger and I was quite impressed. It was a gift for my girlfriend and it had a lot of simple bells and whistles for her. Also, very responsive controller. I kind of regret buying the Samsung at $370 in the same tier previously as it isn't as responsive. Also,t he Toshiba is super light and easy to wall mount by yourself.

Easy to operate and well connected through the FireTV universe. I appreciate the ease of operation and intuitive setup, especially if you have an existing Amazon account. Adding apps to the device is seamless - my only complaint is the size of the storage as I have to continually balance which apps are the most important for me to have in life. Obviously, Netflix is A #1 however the others are causing chokepoints as I can only fit so many before receiving a warning of limited storage. Thats my only complaint.

Really great TV for the price. I have it in my bedroom and just use the smart TV options. Set up is very easy. Great picture!

Clear picture quality. Light weight and fits nicely on Wall mount. The functions with built in apps are easy to use. Great price too!

FireTV (Amazon) is not allowing the Verizon FIOS TV app to be available to install on this smart TV. That was the whole reason I purchased a TV with built in Amazon Fire TV technology. If I had known that Amazon was barring it on this model, I would had purchased another TV. Very disappointed with Amazon on this matter as it makes no sense why they are not permitting the app to the visible in their App Store to download and install for this model TV. I called Fire TV support and they confirmed that the app is not available for this model! Apple saves the day as usual as I am able to run the app using an Apple TV attached to the TV, but it should be able to run the app on the native Fire TV platform. As for the rest of the TV, it is good for the price. The color is not as accurate as I would like and it hard to compare this with my OLED set which is more than 10x the price. I do like how the antenna grid listing is also integrated with listings from streaming services such as Pluto, IMDb, and Tubi. I would had given it another star if it wasn’t for Amazon withholding apps for this model on built in Fire TV platform. The remote has no number keys so there is no way to punch in a channel number easily to jump to a specific channel. Easy to set up and install.

Had to buy a new tv was unsure which one to get due to new Technology so I looked and looked and finally came across this TV which is a fire TV has everything that I usually watch so I went down to Best Buy to check it out do you looked awesome so I decided to purchase it brought it home it was a really quick set up the size was amazing the picture was amazing so I was very satisfied with my purchase I would recommend anybody to buy this product .
