Remote has problems, now internet connectivity

The remote freezes and half the buttons don’t work. Today it could not find the wireless network but all the iPads and phones found the network. Had to unplug and reset the tv. Not sure if it isn’t a defect of the tv. I hope I don’t have to do this every other day to keep the tv working.
