Toshiba seems still a great brand for TV. No issues after several months. And this TV includes all the basic functions needed today. The embedded chrome cast is indeed good since you don't need to worry about wiring for another external streaming device.

For a tv on sale @ $299.99 and 55" it can't be beat. The chrome cast was easy to setup. This tv is not a Smart tv in the sense of having built in apps. But for a casting setup for a cheap per inch, you can't go wrong.

I enjoy watching my favorite shows on it since it gives me a very clear images and vivid colors. I use to watch only for an hour now I spent more hours just to watch. I will never exchange my experience using this tv.

I usually only buy LG TVs, but the price on this was so good I bought it. I am very impressed by the screen quality. The Google Cast is I nice feature but I don't use it. The sound is very good. Overall this is a good perchase and I would buy it again.

I own a lot of Tv's. $4000 curved and very high class models. For the price this TV is awesome. Chromecast is cool. Smart tv would be better. Overall a great purchase! Wish it was a little slimmer like my vizios.

I had previously bought a 55" Toshiba without Chromecast. I loved it so much that I thought I'd get this one with the built-in Chromecast. While I have no complaints about the TV, I had problems with Chromecast connecting to the internet. It finds and connects to my network but then couldn't connect to the internet. I Googled the issue and followed some troubleshooting tips (i.e., modifying some modem/router settings) to no avail. It shouldn't be this hard to connect to the internet! I packed it up and returned it to Best Buy. I bought the 58" Samsung Smart TV instead, which connected to the internet without a problem. I would recommend it to a friend with the caveat that there may be an issue with Chromecast connecting to the internet.

Great tv at an outstanding price.Due to some delivery issues out of my own or Best Buys control, the delivery was delayed. BUT the entire sales process with Best Buy was remarkable! They really reached out and made everything cool. WTG Best Buy !!

I picked this up on a flash deal for ~$299. At that price, it's a bargain. I can finally put a TV in the spare room and one outside under the overhang. I got the extended warranty for 5 years for next to nothing.

I bought this TV in February and so far so good. No issue at all. Good Picture Quality and easy to connect to TV through my phone and laptop. Only problem I have is to connect my USB 3.0 external hard disk.

This tv is all around GREAT in every category. Picture quality is outstanding and I can't turn the volume up over 40% out of respect to my neighbors. And Chromecast ? There just aren't enough O's in the alphabet to describe how coooool it is !

I purchased this TV during a four hour flash sale and I must say I'm pretty impressed the picture is very nice the speakers are pretty loud ( louder than I expected ) overall very happy with my purchase

Wanted a larger tv in our family room but didn't want to break the bank. This tv fit the bill and with it linking to Chromecast, watching Netflix and youtube could not be easier. The sound is pretty good too. Have not had any problems so far.

my toshiba 55" screen tv provides a fabulous HDTV picture. it has really increased the joy of watching sporting events. you feel that you are right there in the middle of all the action.

Our Toshiba 55" TV has sharp picture, great color and the entire family loves this TV for viewing sports games, movies and our favorite weekly TV shows. I would recommend this TV for anyone wanting a clear, sharp, natural "colors" picture.

Would have given the TV a 5 star rating, but the built-in Chromecast is problematic. Given up on casting after spending time on the phone with Toshiba support. TV's picture and sound are excellent.

other reviews complained about problems with the setup and tv turning on with wrong input... I have had no problems and been very happy with all aspects of the tv... great price for what you get

I purchased a 55" Toshiba. My husband was very glad to find a good deal to buy it. The color, sound and pictures are perfect. We have been very happy and we would like recommend it for friends.

This is a great TV with great picture quality and terrific smart capabilities. It took only a few minutes between opening the box and turning it on. Very simple setup. Happy with the product.

Nice size tv for the price! Streaming is extremely easy and the different application you can install on this tv blew me away. Only down fall I really don't care for the volume support as much.

I love this TV, looks great, sounds great! The only thing that is kind of a bummer is instead of having its own "smart" menu where you can access different apps, you have to stream through your phone or some kind of device
