Easy to set up, great picture

Great TV with correct Menu Settings
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV has a firmware update, so make sure you update it with USB. The Chromecast works fine with Netflix but is a little flaky with SlingTV, but a recent update seems to have helped. If you do not have the correct settings in the menu, you can get audio drop outs when you have to restart the TV or Chromecast. Setup Chromecast one time, to avoid getting the setup screen every time you turn the TV on. The OTA HDTV menu even tells you the current show name and the upcoming show name which is pretty cool for cord cutters. Bought one of these at Christmas and a Second one 2 months later! Just a great deal overall.

Great TV with great price if you do not need 4k
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this TV at the price of $274.99 before tax. It is an amazing product with its price! The picture is stunning. 1080p is a great choice since I don't have a 4K gaming console nor 4k movies. Google cast is working fine, not outstanding. A lot of times when I stream Youtube on this TV, a loading mark is always in the middle of the picture. Not sure why since I use my 5G wireless band connection. Internet speed should not be an issue. But overall it is a great bang of your buck.

Best brand for the Money, great picture
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my 3rd Toshiba TV and I love this brand for a lot of reasons, but the big one is the sound. The DTS speaker system eliminates the need for a sound bar as so many other brands required for decent sound when I read reviews (Samsung, etc). It took longer to get this TV out of the box than it did to get it set up and running. I am still learning the 'Chromecast' system, but overall if you want a large tv with a great picture and don't want to spend a ton of money, then look no further. This is the best brand of LED TV out there.

Surprisingly great!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this TV for a steal. A price so low that I bought it online without even going to the Best Buy 3 miles from my home to look at it. Picked it up, brought it home, and WOW! This has a great picture and great sound. I could have spent more but I don't know why I would. I'm 100% satisfied. Costs were cut in some odd places. The TV doesn't come with a manual and the remote doesn't have any numbers on it, but neither of these were an issue for me since I use a DVR. I'm glad I found this TV.

First new tv purchase
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had been looking for a tv for a few months now, and I come across this one. Look up the reviews and it seemed pretty good and for $299 I couldn't help myself. I've only had it for a few days so it may be too early to tell, but so far I'm impressed. Great picture and Sound quality. Chrome cast popping up every time you turn it on can be a pain, but other than that I love it!

Great TV for the Price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this TV about two months ago and have had no issues at all with it. Picture and sound are both great. As with any motion rate TV in this category, there is a slight amount of tracing during fast movement, but it isn't notable unless you really pay attention and are looking for it. Other reviews have complained about the default input being chromecast, not an issue for me. I turn it on and it goes to HDMI every time! Would recommend purchase!

All good except....
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review....for Google Cast being the default use after powering on every time. I actually installed this TV as a big monitor for a security camera system showing 16 cameras at once and it works great for that. Additionally, the primary user (not me) also will turn on local HD channels for weather alerts. I have no complaints about picture/sound/brightness or clarity. Oh, and it's very light. I installed this pretty high on a wall from a ladder by myself. Having a user-friendly mount helps! :) The only thing (as mentioned by other reviewers) is the Google Cast thing. You have to select a HDMI input every time you turn it on when you want to do anything else. Mostly a minor inconvenience. If it wasn't for that, I'd give it 5 stars.

Purchased for my kids room
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My children are pretty satisfied with the TV, nice picture and the size is amazing. The only con for me is you have to control the smart tv aspect through your phone, but my kids don't mind as their phones are attached to their hands anyway.

Fine for price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Have had this TV a week, so far it is fine, but there are a couple of things I don't like. The remote doesn't have numbers on it, so you can only go up and down to get to your station. Also because it has chromecast, it goes to chromecast when it comes on, and we have to push input and choose antenna/cable to watch regular TV. We weren't able to hook up the chromecast, but we have internet generated by the cell phone hotspot, so that may be the problem. We weren't planning on using the chromecast much any way. We got it because of the price for the size.

Best for the price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A 55" TV under $350! The TV is meant for used with smart devices, so the remote is compact which is a great thing. Great picture quality, awesome sound with Onkyo built-in. Chromecast was seamless to setup. It has 3 additional HDMI ports. What more you expect? Hope it lasts long for me.

Expected more.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Actually, I did not buy this TV. I bought a new car on BlackFriday and they gave me one for free. So I'm only giving my opinion. Before moving to Minnesota, I had a LG 3D smart TV whose picture quality was way better. My wife can't really tell, but the difference is clear to me. I feel I can see more pixels and the image is not smooth was I would expect. Other than that, everything works great. The TV looks nice, sound quality is good.

Great!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great TV for the price! Picture is great and 4K is not really needed as there isn't that many 4k feeds as of yet. Overall Happy!!

Inbuilt chromecast keeps losing sound
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been using this TV for the past one month. The picture quality is good but the inbuilt chromecast can be a real pain most of the times. I have tried casting from mac (using chrome extension) and also youtube direct cast option (which works very well). I see major issues when I try to cast from my Nexus phone and also from browser.

Get what you pay for
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The picture quality is subpar, the chromecast randomly shuts off and I have to restart my show, and at times the volume turns off for no reason. With that being said, you get what you pay for.
