Not suitable for older people with vision issues

However, I was buying it for my 85 year old mother who has eyesight and hearing issues. Her first complaint was that the volume did not go high enough for her to hear well. Her second complaint was that every time the TV is turned on, it goes to the internet bot screen and you have to re-enter the source you want to use which is a major pain for someone who has to use a magnifying glass to read the buttons on the remote. i spent over an hour at the Best Buy store working with the sales person on a way to change the settings so it would come up on the HDMI 1 input when turned on. Finally another salesperson told us that that was the way this particular TV is programmed and cannot be changed. The department manger worked with me to return this TV and replace it with another brand that had sufficient volume and comes up automatically to the cable input when turned on.

It Doesn't last long.
