I purchased this tv for my mother for Christmas. We bought on Black Friday and got it delivered the 30th I wanted to make sure that the tv was here in time for Christmas. We set it up on Christmas Day and was easy to put the leg stands on it. Very Easy process to set up with google cast. I showed her how to search for 4K video through apps she could get/want on her phone to watch through googlecast. The picture though is still very great with regular programming and brings some older shows and movies the picture just fantastic. The only con I could say and this is more for the best buy website is that I couldnt find the vesa measurements on the website at all. I wanted to order a mount for her as well but couldnt find the vesa measurements. They were on the box which is great. Just not on the website.

This TV is great!! Everything about it is great!! Out of the box setup was very easy, built in Chromecast is sufficient and easy to use, maybe not enough choices for others, but for me, its sufficient. Got a HD antenna, works great, over 70 channels. Picture quality is very good, sound is excellent, wont need sound bar.. I couldn't pass this deal up, its very much worth $398.00, amazing bargain for name brand.

I would recommend this tv. Its really easy to use and the quality is great!!! Plus we got it during a deal and got it for a awesome price.

We bought this to upgrade from an older 36" Toshiba. With the 55" screen this Toshiba is quite an improvement. The picture is awesome, it is crisp, clear, vibrant with a smooth blend of colors. Having had issues with the sound on other flat panels we opted to get a sound bar. Went with LG 2.1 sound bar and all is well with that. Got both on a sale from BB.

I'm very happy with this 4K TV. It has Google Chromecast built In so you can send content from your phone or tablet. Youtube & Netflix work great. Easy to set up, good looking set. Has great sound and great 4K picture!

i have only had this tv for about a week, but so far it's good. I use Netflix, Plex, Firestick and the screen looks good. I have not watched a 4K movie on it so i cannot give a review on the actual 2160p. I have been told that in order to see the full HD (and 2160 pixels) you need to watch a 4K movie.I feel like the tv volume could improve, but I did purchase it for $429, so for the price, it is decent.

I'm satisfied with the TV itself, the picture quality and sound are great. But the Chromecast is completely useless. It works maybe 20% of the time which is annoying because I planned to stream all of my shows. I don't have cable or satellite so the TV is practically unusable. I wish I had gotten a smart TV instead.

It was an okay TV, until it died today. It won't stay powered on. It used to ghost images every once in a while and the Chromecast was more reliable with a cell phone than a laptop. My family won't miss it. We have another Toshiba that we have been happy with.

In this case, you get what you pay for. I cursed Toshiba, Best Buy and Google for hours after discovering that unless you pair this TV with the internet (Googlecast) via a WiFi device, every time you turn the TV back on the input is reset to Google cast (not your desired HDMI input) and the Google cast setup screen reappears. I called Toshiba customer service to ask how to disable the Google cast setup, and they told me that many customers had complained about this, but that GOOGLE CAST SETUP CANNOT BE DISABLED. Refresh rate is only 60Hz. Internet and other web content options menu don’t nearly compare with other smart TV’s I’ve owned. The only nice thing I can say about this TV is that it was cheap. I’ll never buy another Google cast enabled TV if I can help it.

I've only had the TV for a short matter of time, but it's GREAT so far. The 4k is sooo clutch! Great TV for a GREAT price.

My wife and I decided to upgrade and this TV was the best bang for the buck. $500 for a 55" 4K tv we thought was a steal considering we saw smaller 1080p tv's for more money. The picture can be a little grainy at times but keep in mind that not everything is being broadcast in 4K yet. Although the picture during the Broncos/Panthers season opener was crystal clear! It's not a true smart tv being as you can't access apps from your remote but it has a chromecast built into it. We have a Playstation 4 so not a big deal there. Overall, for the money and overall quality of the tv, it's a solid buy and you will not be disappointed.

this tv is the worst purchase i have ever made in my lifetime! move on, purchase something else, get a different tv all together. i had just moved and needed to buy literally everything for my apt in a few days before i started my new job. this tv was on sale in store, the colour and picture was great. wow. got it home and this tv BLOWS! it randomly turns off, i have to re-sync it with wifi all the time for it to register its with chromecast, even when it is on network, my computer/phone says no chromecast found. it is well past the return time and i regret every day not taking it back when i found out its NOT REALLY a SMART TV. I moved and started my job so quickly together i didn't even use this poc until it was too late. literally shredding $500 would have been more entertaining. its just so much fun to sit down to relax and have your show TURN OFF while you're watching it, skip half the sentences, or finally giving up on your tv and just watching your shows on your laptop. best buy should be embarrassed they sell this product.

Good except Bought 4 Toshiba 4K TVs with Chromecast Built-in for Christmas gifts not realizing it would take 4 extra steps just to get to the HMDI input for Directv to watch the channel being watched when the TV was turned off. What was Toshiba/Best Buy thinking? No one here likes having to take the 4 extra steps each time they turn on their TV especially the older people. I will be exchanging them tomorrow.

I love My Tv!!! I did not like the google setup for chrome. I love the TV though! The picture is crystal clear and the sound is pretty good actually I play games and some of the base and boom in the TV is awesome ...

Issues within the first few hours of purchasing. I should have brought it back then. Now its probably close to a year and a half later and im kicking myself for not returning. Tv shuts off on its own. Randomly switches over to Chromecast screen. My remote just stopped working for whatever reason. 80% of the time the tv works fine.. the other 20% the tv has a mind of its own. And its very annoying/aggravating. Spend the extra money and get a better brand. I wish I did.

Setup on this TV was a nightmare. Google app reequired to setup. App would not load on tablet, after nearly an hour on phone with help (Toshiba) he hung up on me. WHERE DO YOU FIND MANUALS FOR THE NEW TV'S? ANYONE?

We purchased the TV 3-2017, it worked fine until 3-2019. We thought a storm surge affected it or the DVR (Directv) It acted like it would come on, but go off immediately. We bought a power cord...same thing happened. A tv repair shop said the back lights were bad. It was going to cost $200 to fix. We paid $479 with tax initially. We junked it. We didn't think it was worth it to repair then something else happen. We decided to purchase a bigger & better tv elsewhere.

Bought this at the store during presidents day. Love it and still love it.
