Dead screen in 23 months.

Dead screen September 2024. Turns on and quickly fades to black - sound still working. The manufacturer warranty has expired. It will cost more to fix than to replace. I will avoid Toshiba/Hisense LED TVs from now on. Flaky piece of garbage.

No Dish compatibility

And even though we do have streaming services, we prefer cable...specifically Dish Network. This Toshiba TV was not able to pair with our Dish remotes. Even with the generic remote we have, it could only increase volume and change channels, it could not turn the TV off and on. Nor could Alexa turn the TV off and on. Only the one Toshiba remote could turn the TV off and on, and that was not acceptable. We returned it and bought a Samsung for a bit more money. It paired with our Dish remotes seamlessly. We're happy now.

Buyer beware

We bought this TV in December 22 and the screen went out in July of 23. After 45 days of back and forth with the actual manufacturer....HISENSE...they decided not to honor the warranty. It is a tragedy that people are mislead thinking this is a Toshiba product when in fact it is Hisense, we are now stuck with a useless piece of plastic.

It also requires you to allow amazon to monitor everything you view and say. Do not buy unless you don't care about that.

NO Service from Best Buy or Toshiba

No help from either one if you have an issue. I purchased three of these 55 inch TVs at the same time and there is NO service

Terrible tv

Don’t recommend this one

It was used in a guest bedroom and has maybe 100 hours of use on it. Screen is all sorts of colors with lines here and there. It’s been mounted on the wall the entire time.

It turn black screen

I paid almost $500 for this. I am not happy

If it breaks you’re out of a TV

Keep getting the run around from Best Buy and the manufacturer

Bad item!

In addition, it would randomly not recognize HDMI ports and you’d have to restart it. It would also freeze and lose connection to internet. I have another Toshiba from a few years ago that works great.

Waste of money.
