You can tell the difference, for example the blacks are not true pitch blacks. But like I said, it is a relatively affordable TV. So for the price it does more than enough.

I gave a rating of "Good' because almost one year later. I got black screen on tv and nothing works. To everyone, best to buy protection plans from Best Buy. Its worth it. Will get my tv replaced. Be warn. (picture shows the troubling view.. meaning no good).

The girl who helped me said there was only one in stock and it might take a minute to find it. I truly appreciated being told I would have to wait, instead of her just disappearing. They loaded my TV in my car. Everyone was very nice and helpful. Will definitely go back for other items.

I have been amazed at how clear the movies have been showing, still trying to adjust the resolution for better gaming video graphics. so far so good with tv, I'm satisfied.
