This tv had to be restarted because it would error out and not hold any games. WiFi would loose image quality and we have great WiFi.

The Toshiba 55 inch 4K tv with FireTv is a very good prefrormer for the price. It provides the latest version of the FireTv integrated into a budget 4K UHD HDR TV. The TV comes well packaged with feet for placing on a dresser or stand the TV can also be wall mounted. The remote is an expanded version of a stand and Amazon FireTV remote with a live TV , Netflix, Amazon prime video, HBO and PlayStation vue button. There is a volume rocker and a mute button as well. The remote and Tv are Alexa enabled and respond to voice commands. You can even add Alexa skills to the TV to control other devices. The remote is Bluetooth and infrared. Some things are not that obvious such as how to use the remote to get to the TV settings, Just hold down the Home key until the settings menu appears and then use the navigation circle and button to select the desired setting. You might want to adjust the dynamic contrast, brightness and contrast using the custom setting. While in the live TV mode or the AFTV mode use the three bars to select any settings available. I spent some time watching a variety of content from Netflix, Hulu, Amazon and OTA all looked really good and there were no glitches at all. The OTA set up will need your Zip code to generate a guide which is included. Alot of reviewers remark about the poor black levels or the low brightness of the panel. Although this TV does not have the specs of much higher units I found it pretty good at playing streaming content including 4k. At this price point I did not expect it to match my LG OLED or Samsung series 6 QLED but it was not bad at all. As far as connectors there are three HDMI inputs, a USB port, and an optical audio output on the left. Side and an Ethernet port, antenna/cable connector, and an RCA composite video input facing more toward the left center. It also has a power button that doubles and an input button on the lower right. The Wifi connected solidly to my 5ghz AC connection. If you want a 4K UHD HDR 10 TV at a budget price and you are an Amazon Fire TV user then this is a great choice.

Delivered very late at night. Almost delivered to wrong house. Device was defected and had to return for new one 3 days later.

Tried to turn tv on and all of a sudden wouldnt turn on unplugged cord tried everything and wont turn on not even a month old

Nicely packaged and very easy to set the stand up. IInstructios for haning on the wall was also straightforward. Connecting to my components was easy except for my soundbar which you definitely need. The internal speaker sounds very tinny and low, this is the main reason why i gave it 4 stars along with the ok colors. I like deep bold colors the tv is not as vibrant as the more expensive models. I love the built in fire tv option because less components i have connected. I have the 55 inch and its a great size for my space. Overall. Its at a great pricepoint for the features it offers. Good buy.

In two days or less the screen went black, returning to store after exhausting all reset and troubleshooting options.

we had 2 of these in a matter of weeks, the first had screen tearing and the second had both hor and vert dead pixel

Not the vivid 4K quality picture I expected. Poor backlighting, and the picture a times doesn't focused. Trails.

When I had this TV I had nothing but problems with it. I finally decided to return it for a refund.

Tv will not turn on at all. Only had the tv for 1 month. Hopefully the warranty return is an easy process

This is my second Toshiba UHD TV. The first was a Chromecast and the backlight and ballast finally pooped out on new years day. We loved that tv, and I do miss the ability to cast anything from my phones and tablets, so I'll likely purchase a dongle for this TV. However, the fire tv was a huge upgrade. The picture is clearer and looks more realistic, despite both TVs having the same amount of pixels. If you own an Echo or Echo Dot, you can pair your TV with those devices and have a completely hands free voice-controlled experience. The only problem we've noticed is for shows and movies, Alexa typically defaults to opening them in the Fire TV app despite us telling her to open the show from Netflix or Hulu. It works itself out with repeated use, though. Just takes a few tries. The parental control is nice, but you have to put a five-digit PIN in EVERY time you open something, and that kind of defeats our purpose of having our child ask Alexa to watch something instead of constantly asking a parent. So far we haven't had any problems without the PIN, since our kids knows that all of her shows are found in the kids accounts, so she asks for those and Alexa opens them. Right out of the box this TV is smart. There really isn't much for you to configure, aside from entering your passwords from Amazon and other accounts. After a few prompts, the TV downloads some updates, restarts, and you're ready to download apps to personalize your viewing experience. There are mobile games that your can download and play with your remote, but be careful because some will charge your Amazon account. We're very happy with this TV and plan to buy another in the future. If you're already an Amazon customer and regularly watch Prime TV, Netflix, Hulu, and other streaming services, this TV is perfect. It transforms your antenna television into a smart experience, too. And if you own an Echo or an Echo Dot, you can easily pair this TV in your Alexa app for a completely hands-free voice-controlled experience.

Bought from Best Buy July 2019 now having problems of booting up and screen going black.

It worked for 2 hours great, now the screen won't stay on for more than 1 minute.

If you don't have fire TV don't waste your money. I sold it and bought an LC tv.
