Setting up the TV was easy. The picture is really good and this TV can recalibrate old movies to make them appear in a much sharper picture image pixel-wise. sometimes you will have to readjust the picture settings again-depends on the resolution. The sound is good and there are more than enough outputs(3 HDMI, Composite, USB) As a former Apple TV used, I was a little skeptic about the whole FireTV experience, but I was pleasantly surprised. Really cool all in one remote and easy Navigation. Overall: for the budget of much less than a used iPhone, you can get yourself a really great smart TV 4K for basic needs.

I came to best buy with a buddy with no intention of picking up a new TV. My bedroom TV was pretty on its last leg. It was over ten years old when I bought this tv, and it was a model early on when the flatscreen LCDs started coming out. I couldn't believe how cheap TVs had become and ended up buying one on the spot.

I love this TV. I have never purchased a Toshiba product before, but based on the quality of this product, I will be adding the brand to my list of companies when comparing for a new purchase. I love the Alexa function, and my kids think it's magic that they can talk to the TV. The design is awesome, the functions work really well, and it feels like a pretty well built item. I would definitely recommend for your everyday viewing, but based on the video and refresh specs, I would not use for a movie room experience. Pick one up and you will not be disappointed!

Toshiba has always been an underrated in the Flat screen TV world, compared to the big 3 : Sony, LG, Samsung. But imo I truly believe Toshiba is just as good and sometimes Even better as the 3 headed monsters! Anyway I purchased a Toshiba 55'' smart tv with Amazon fire couple days ago. We love so far,,, exellent pic, audio and the alexa remote responds great, plus has 3 HDMI ports , Best tv we've ever had and for almost Half the price !!!

Had the tv 1 week. The salesman sold me on it, picture is fine, sound is fine, but this controller is a dang joke. It has no up and down for channels. Ticks me off to no end. It is so advanced into the smart tv realm that if you want to use satellite or antenna it’s a joke. I’d only buy it again if I were simply using it as a computer type streaming tv. Not a happy customer

TV has a good picture and decent sound; especially when considering the $380 price tag. What really makes this a five star TV is the FireTV integration. UI is clean and responsive, the phone app works very well, app selection is comprehensive, and the wi-fi receiver in the TV is strong. Our comparable grade Samsung struggles in all of those areas. I'm tempted to go buy another to hang in our den to replace an old 50" plasma.

This TV is a great budget 4K TV. If you are looking for a TV for a home theatre setup then pass on this. Picture quality is good enough to use as a bedroom or guestroom TV. As an Android TV user this is my first experience with Fire TV and it works for my need. I really only have 2 gripes that I can live with. 1. No sleep timer to set the TV to shutoff at predetermined interval. If you are watching a streaming service and the movie or show ends then it will sleep after activity is over after a time, but if you are watching live TV it will play all night. What TV doesn't have a sleep timer? It can be worked around with a Logitech Harmony hub. 2 I would have loved to see the built in TV tuner app be able to support a network tuner like and HDHomerun to work like Live Channels in Android TV. It integrates the Amazon Channels you subscribe to in it like HBO, would like to see it also integrate TV subscribed to outside of Amazon into it also, like Showtime Anytime. The APPS I use on Android TV are available on this and work well like HDHomerun, Plex, Amazon Prime (obviously), Showtime Anytime, HBO Go, Pluto TV, ETC. So all in all is it a great TV with the best picture? No, But it is a really good budget TV to add to your home but not to replace your Main TV.

Hi! My family bought this TV 3 days ago (Dec 23) from our local Best Buy in Snellville, GA, and once again 2 days ago (Dec 24). Yep, thats right we had to buy this TV twice because the first one stopped working over night. Worked just fine out of the box and we loved it, but turned it off over night and woke up to find that our TV didn't work anymore. We returned the first one and exchanged it for another one hoping to have better luck. Ironically enough, the exact same thing happened to our 2nd new TV. Right in the middle of watching our new new TV, the screen went completely black but sound kept playing. Called the actual Toshiba Troubleshooting number, and was told there was absolutely nothing we could do to try and fix our now second broken TV. We were told on the phone that we were not the only ones experiencing this problem with the FIreTV. Now we are returning to Best Buy tomorrow morning to return our dead TV and hopefully get a full refund. Don't get me wrong, the TV has (well had in our case) such a beautiful picture and qualities but too bad we only got to experience them for 2hrs :) Please don't waste your time and money on this TV, especially if you are buying from Snellville, GA location since there must be something wrong with their shipment of FireTVs. Hopefully this TV ends up working out for you and you don't have to go through 2 of them in less than 24 hrs like my family had to.

i bought this tv the weekend before blackfridat week and it was cheaper than the black friday sales ..woo hoo.. and they were selling the 50 in for same price so i said well of course i want the bigger size.. great tv with all features iam just having a problem adjusting the bright ness to alittle less not doing good cant see screen when adjust have to switch from settings back to show

Originally bought the Sharp - 60" Class - LED - 2160p - Smart - 4K UHD TV with HDR - Roku TV but had to RETURN it . Sharp picture and color was very poor. This TOSHIBA IS AMAZING! Tv is bright, vibrant and color are all great plus you have the choice in using Alexa. Always recommend going in store to see the quality face to face might save you a trip

After 4 years of use it’s still responsive as of day one, high quality image and sound works with most apps and most commands works with Alexa

I was thinking less about this set at purchase. After getting it home I realized this is a great value set. It has more features than my top of the line one. For the class it’s in I would say it’s a great picture with all the bells you need. The only drawback for me is the thickness. It’s still a flat panel but much deeper than its peers

2nd Toshiba tv I’ve purchased and Toshiba never lets me down!! Perfect picture quality and sound! Can’t wait to shop for more!!

I bought this TV from amazon about 6 months ago for my bedroom. When I saw it on sale here, I had to get another one to replace my 32in Toshiba I bought 10 years ago. I don't have cable and it has all the apps I use on my Apple TV.

Despite running the exact same operating system (checked the OS version) as my older 4k fire TV stick (Chromecast dongle style version), when connected to the TV, streaming directly with the TV has significantly poorer picture quality when compared to streaming via a FireTV Stick on the same TV. TV has washed out colors, weak black tones, and whites have an off-white hue to them. FireTV Stick connected to the same TV, colors are vibrant, really pop, whites are brought white and blacks are very dark. Additionally where streaming on Hulu and Netflix, the TV won't stream in 4k or HDR, only YouTube and Prime. Whereas with the Fire Stick, I get 4k streams with the exact same show. I would only suggest this TV if you don't care, or your planning on using a secondary decide to stream your apps.

The picture screen turned black (died) after 6 years! It has been great all these years, and suddenly, the screen stopped working. The average lifespan of these TVs is 7-10 years. After reading the reviews, I found that many people had issues after a few days or years.

I decided to upgrade my old 42 plasma insignia to something bigger better this tv is much bigger than my 8 year plasma but so far the picture quality is not as good. The picture quality might get better as I mess with the settings more or get a newer cable box. Another small issue was trying to get my comcast channels to scan onto the tv through the attenna coaxial connection I gave up an ended up hooking the cable box through a hdmi connector. The other issue is if you put something in the headphone jack the speakers don’t function. But for the price it is still pretty good my 42 plasma was 350 8 years ago this one on sale 300 and 7 inches bigger so cheaper by the inch and lighter in weight than my 42 and it is a smart tv so I have the option of streaming shows movies through apps

You can never go wrong with a Toshiba. Great picture quality. I've had for almost 5 years and no issues
