TV has good picture and was easy to setup. With an existing Prime account had it up and running in about 10 minutes.

The picture quality and operating system of the TV are fantastic for the price. However, the TV is unable to access the menu without leaving the app you are in. For example, if you want to turn on the sleep timer: you need to exit Hulu, Netflix, etc., go to the system settings, turn on the sleep timer, then start your app over again. If it was possible to enter a basic menu while still running an app in the background, that would change my review to 5 stars.

I am not an electronics expert, but I love Amazon Prime/Fire TV. This was a great buy for a 55" TV. I have found it easy to use. I like the sound so well, that we haven't even hooked up the sound bar. The picture is very good. I have had this TV a month and can't think of a bad thing to say about it. Within a week of our purchase, the price was reduced even further so I contacted Best Buy online and they refunded us the difference. I was very pleased with that!

I was looking to upgrade from my older 43" Toshiba HDTV to a newer larger screened model with better optics and sound. I scored quite the sufficient new edition with the added screen size and 'brighter' clarity of picture. Programs are now rendered beautifully with the 4K UHD imaging and although the speakers aren't ideal the audio is still a vast improvement over the less efficient speakers of the more compact set. Great value for this system!

I was almost ready to buy a 55 Samsung (waiting on a good price drop) but I had been watching this Toshiba Fire TV too. When BB put the price at $400 I couldn't resist. While picture quality isn't as good as the Samsung I was looking at, the added Fire TV, Alexa compatibility and the price drop locked the decision in for me. I'm not disappointed. Picture quality is good however, I would have paid a bit more for a more crisp picture. Nevertheless, it's much better than what I had.
