However, after talking to folks that they warned me that you get what you pay for and that Toshiba brand TV won't last as long as say, a Sony brand. Friends have told me that be aware around the 3 year mark that this Toshiba brand TV may die on you but for now, all is good.

It has a lot of white spots all over the edge of the screen that are very noticeable. For a perfectionist like me it's very annoying but I mean, you can't exoect much from a cheap tv. I exchanged it because the first one I got had the same issue and this one is the same or worse. I just gave up, it does the job for now but I would definitely not recommend this product.
