    I purchased this TV on 9/1/23. I mounted the TV on 9/3/23 using the Best Buy Essentials 47-84 in' wall mount. I followed instructions precisely as the last thing I'd want to occur is unwanted damage. On 11/21 at around 12:15am, the TV fell off of the brackets and wall mount. It was extremely loud and woke up my entire family. Had the TV mount come out of the wall, then I would completely attest that it was due to faulty installation on my part. However, the fact that the TV fell off of the brackets which are still extremely secure to the mount are what signal that faulty hardware was the cause of the damage. Installing the brackets on the back of the TV was one of the first steps of installation and not something that I would look over, just like any other rational person. The TV was shattered and thank goodness none of my pets or kids were standing near it or they could have been seriously injured or killed. My wife called the next day to speak with someone about replacement considering the abnormality of the damage. She was told someone would be in contact within 5-6 days with an update. That did not occur so she called back the following week and was told the report was placed in the wrong queue and that it would now be moved to the correct queue which would take another 5-6 days for placement and an additional 30 days to review and determine a solution. I decided to call the following day because I find it ridiculous that anyone should have to wait 35 days to get an answer regarding replacement or compensation due to an issue clearly caused by defective components. I was then told that my case would be sent to escalations to determine a quicker solution. I was contacted the same day via email from Toshiba Electronics Office with Best Buy Products. They requested additional information - description of the damage and occurrence, photos, etc. I provided all of the additional information the following day, 11/30. I still have not received anything after sending two additional emails requesting an update response, so I decided to call today. I was transferred a couple of different times and had to explain the situation for the 6th or 7th time. I was told that since Best Buy did not perform the installation, that there was nothing that could be done to help. If that were the case, why was I not told that from the beginning? Through 4 or 5 different interactions with different Best Buy employees, I was told that my situation would be reviewed and solved. Clearly, this was not the case and shows a complete lack of care for customers who spend nearly a grand on their products. As someone who works in customer service, I find Best Buy's customer care pathetic and embarrassing. I was lied to for 22 days when I could have bought a new TV by now.

    This TV was just over 30 days old when we noticed a dead pixel spot on the screen. Not a huge spot but defiantly noticeable when light colors were on the screen and extremely noticeable while watching hockey. Dealing with Hisense (the manufacture of this TV) customer service seemed to be great with the first conversation I had but rapidly declined after that. 3rd party Technician (sent by Hisense) came out agreed it was a noticeable annoying dead pixel spot but the Technical support guru on the phone with him disagreed and said the spot was too small for them to do anything about. Of course I wasn't happy about his assessment and followed up with Toshiba/Hisense 3 days later on a Friday to check on the status. After navigating their impossible automated phone service, finally spoke with someone who seemed nice and friendly who said they will send the case to supervisor for review and I will hear from them Monday. Well, it's Wednesday and I had to call them, navigate the crap phone system, finally talk to someone who informs me that based on their findings the TV is void of warranty due to bugs!!! WTF. The only mention of bugs the whole time, by myself or the technician that came to the house was that from a distance you would mistake it for a bug. Pictures show dead pixels no bugs. -Short review, if the TV did not have the dead spot (or any other issue) it would be great. The fact that if any does go wrong this company will do nothing about it and straight up make something up to void the warranty is crazy. I do have the Geek Squad protection from Best Buy so lets see what they can do.
