This TV has an incredible resolution and is feature rich. It is Alexa enabled and has an app store that allows you to add many of your favorite streaming apps to be used by remote or by voice. straightforward remote allows you to switch between streaming apps and live OTA broadcast in a push of a button.
One thing that is kind of a draw back is that it doesn't have a "last channel" button so switching between channels is a chore. They also do not have a dedicated favorites button that allows you to surf through your favorite channels in absence of a last channel button, but it compensates (somewhat) by allowing you to set favorites and then placing the list of favorites at the top of the TV guide section.
Hopefully they will fix this in future versions because it is annoying talking to Alexa because you have to and not because you want to. Also, Alexa doesn't recognize all of your streaming apps' control functions so don't expect Alexa to navigate directly to all of the various channels in your live TV list - it ain't happening.
The last thing is that it is a dual Wi-Fi Channel (2.4/5.0) which is awesome because it allows you to choose the faster 5.0 (if you can't or don't want to run an ethernet cable) if you are gaming or streaming movies. However, a quirk that I have discovered is that sometimes when your get buffered on one signal, it will attempt to automatically reconnect you on another channel to keep your stream going.
This is a cool feature except sometimes when that happens you will get a "ghost" stream. When the original channel recovers from the buffer, it will restream so that you end up with a background stream. The 5.0 is doing a voice over on your 2.4 or vice versa so as you change channels you see and hear one thing and you hear a second sound as it were a voice over.
Simply unplug the device for 5-10 seconds and then plug it back in and you're fine - no poltergeist!

Great picture and sound. I knew it wouldn’t be the same quality as a QLED or OLED, but feel I got a great bang for my buck with this Toshiba. Stream runs clear, processor works very well. I have yet to hook up any external inputs, but anticipate them being a similar quality picture with sound.

Good picture but the settings for the picture quality do not stay as programmed. If this doesn't bother you, then the TV is really good. But for me, it bugs me to have to switch the picture setting every time I watch.
I have had this TV for a year and a half, no software update has addressed this issue. Still continues to change settings on its own.
I use the TV with a home theater, so I really have no opinion on the sound quality of the internal speakers.

The picture is 5 star
The remote is small but functions well
The tv when on Netflix will NOT play through my soundbar. Every other application will play through my soundbar. If this problem gets solved I will give this TV 5 Stars!

Good TV for the price. 120 hz refresh rate but not on hdmi inputs, still better than the equivalent Amazon model at only 60hz max. This Tv also has bluetooth which the Amazon equivalent model seems to lack.
Press the select button 7 times to access developer options which is not displayed where it should be in the firetv settings unless you do this, but it really is there.
One bad thing is that Amazon remotes wont work with this Tvs built in firetv OS :(.

I went to the store to exchange a Westinghouse 75 inch that was on sale. The Westinghouse TV was not clear and couldn’t keep up with the fast movements of sports. I picked out an LG and was about to purchase it when one of the employees told me about this TV. I am glad he did and I am glad I didn’t get caught up in the fact it wasn’t an LG, Samsung, or Sony. This TV is by far the best picture I have ever had on a TV. I didn’t believe this type of picture would be available for $730.00. Very happy!

On paper it seemed to check a lot of boxes and I had high hopes for this set, however, once it was set up I noticed some issues that I couldn't ignore. Keeping in mind of course that it could have just been this particular TV, first thing was the terrible bleeding the panel had along the edge where the panel meets the bezel...there was 3 different spots where it seemed like an LED was lit up behind the bezel and it was pretty distracting during movies with black bars - became very obvious the first night of watching when it got darker in the room. Second, the blooming on my set was very very bad - even my kids and wife who don't care very much about this kind of stuff noticed right away. I spent hours going through every setting to see if these issues could be minimized with no success. Any text or titles showed a giant halo around it. I will say the picture when viewing in full screen did look pretty good but motion had an odd way of processing which sometimes seem to give the picture extra judder which one would think would do the opposite. The Fire TV interface worked fine but definitely not as snappy as a dedicated Fire TV stick or similar device. I realize this model is fairly new...maybe just needs more time to work out its kinks. I returned it, paid a bit extra, and got a Sony X90J - couldn't be happier.

I am extremely happy with this television. The picture quality exceeded my expectation and the sound fills my room with quality clarity versus loud noise. The built in Alexa app enables me to voice control what i previously would have had to find with a remote that can be time consuming when searching for specific titles or information. I would buy a second M550 without a question.

Great TV. Picture looks amazing. Only thing is there’s input lag on the hdmi 2.0 when gaming but other than that it’s great.
