Solid external drive

Lots of storage

One has been reformatted to work with Mac and works great. The only down side I have seen deal with my Acer Laptop running Vista and only USB 2 would not boot with this drive plugged in. I also noticed this with another brand of hard drive. Perhaps it is the USB 3 that is the problem. The new HP all-in-one I have running windows 7 has no such problem even though it is also only USB 2.

Unreliable

Bestest unit I've found

Set-up is quite simple: just plug and play. Personally I'm looking forward to getting another.

Great Drive for secondary back up
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Tested the write speed it is comparable to my other back up drives. I use 2TB WD Blacks for back up drives normally some Seagate Baracudas 2TB for back up also - First time trying toshiba

Backup Couldn't Be Easier

Once that was done, turning on Time Machine was a snap. The first backup takes a while and can slow your machine down, so you might want to plan to start it when you can leave it alone to get it done.
