I allready started using it. I also I am new to saving files on external hard drives. I managed to save full Office software. I have 2003, and 2007, and 2010. and they are all saved on my toshiba hard drive.

Love how compact this terrabyte drive is. It also comes with additional cloud storage. Haven't used that yet. Either way was very glad I picked up this item. There is a slight difference between the 3.0 and 2.0 USB. A bit faster for uploads.

It's a great buy for that amount of storage and quality look and feel. My only complaint about it was that I can't use it on both Mac and PC simultaneously without having to format it. Nevertheless I'm satisfied with it and would recommend it.

After experiencing a problem with the first drive I purchased, the replacement drive seems to be working as it should. My techie friend said failures are common, so many are produced and quality control is an issue, having said that, my drive is working and it does seem like a lot of value for the money.

I was needing an external drive to hold 200+mb of program files that could be completely portable and move from machine to machine (machines are not on a network). this drive works great and at a good price.

After reading reviews i knew i would have no trouble with it. Plugged into Xbox One and within a couple minutes it was configured as external hard drive. Only complaint would be i didn't buy it sooner.

I have a huge need for data storage for many uses and I was searching for a very reasonable priced but high quality external disk that is reliable. I found this to be a good buy and a great investment.

I needed some more memory space after purchasing a GoPro to download all my videos so that I could edit to shorter versions. This is a perfect fit so that my memory on my laptop does not get bogged down.

Easy to use. i bought this to do a mirror image of my computer. No formatting needed; just plug it in and it installs the software within seconds. After using this, I bought another one for my pictures.

Overall, the drive is a nice, convenient, compact way to store a ton of data. Only thing I didn't like was the USB 3.0 micro B cord but basically because I don't have a drawer full of those...yet.

This hard drive, like all the TOSHIBA hard drives that I have used over many years is easy to use and reliable.

The Toshiba Connect II was the perfect item for my movies. Now when I'm traveling, all I have to do is pull out my Toshiba and watch the movie.

This back up system is so easy to use. Just plug into the USB and it starts to save any new work you entered now I won't panic if my computer crashes

this is amazing a great buy well worth the money and the free cloud space is the best and the price made this hard drive well worth the money.

I have 2 of these 1 TB Toshiba external hard drives. I keep one attached to my laptop where I store all my music and documents, etc... The second I use as a backup for my music 650 GB and growing.

My daughter is in graduate school and needs to download a great volume of information and lectures, plus research notes. This tool is invaluable and automatically backups her day's work each night.

I bought two of these drives for a backup for a server. They've both worked great and haven't had any problems. The price was really good when I bought them too, on sale around black Friday.

I purchased this item to back up my DVDs, as I have a very large number of them making my shelves look cluttered. It was very fast in transferring files. The only thing that stopped a 5 star rating is the plastic seems very poorly made, and scratches very easy. Otherwise, great product.

This small portable hard drive is great. It is easy to use and works great with my mac. Only problem was that I needed to call the company to learn how to reformat the device for my mac.

I purchased this drive to use with my xbox one, and it works flawlessly. The blue light is a little annoying but not really a negative.
